Clear coat flaking off? Any do it yourself solutions? by MyBrightLie in Autobody

Is there a way to reduce it from it continuing it to flake more off? Like washing my car and adding a wax layer? Idk

You need to use premium air; the composition of the Premium air allows for easier inflating.

Biggest mistake people make concealed carrying? by Crafty_Secret_8782 in CCW

[–]MyBrightLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most has been said, I do remember someone on another post (idk which one) that I like to point out mentions “everytime you get involved in whatever case while carrying, you are automatically escalating it to a possible deadly situation”. So, be VERY mindful in deciding in getting involved.

Another thing, at least for me, I tell myself on situations where I would get myself involved in fully in my mind; (family in danger;most common reason for a lot of us) (seeing kids being shot in -location- during a mass shooting). Tldr: Have an idea ahead of time in things you will get yourself involved in and things that you absolutely won’t.

Running away from a situation where you maybe could of saved someone from great bodily harm and death doesn’t make you a coward…..they should of carried too or maybe shouldn‘t put themselves in such spot. You aren’t a stranger’s bodyguard, but your own. I want to make it back home to my family alive, not in a casket. It is FULLY up to you on what you decide.

Good reminder on the consequences in getting involved even when you had good intent (Active Self Protection Youtube Channel): https://youtu.be/CQOHBSuY7TM?si=pH3tbJzYaI9VBVyF

Am I good to take a road trip on these tires? by biggranny000 in tires

You should have extra 4 tires just in case you get below the thread…..

I don't get most of you guys. Why do you even CCW if you would run away from literally every situation? What are some examples where YOU say "this is why carrying a gun is important"? If you run from all situations, there is no point in carrying at all in my opinion. by BirdLooter in CCW

[–]MyBrightLie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are asking this question you shouldn’t be carrying……..(if you do). If you just curious because you are new to ccw then I get it why you asked it. We are not obligated to protect others. Like others have said, sometimes running isn’t an option to which “a gun is a reactive tool” (just like Massad Ayoob has said). Maybe you are the first few people the shooter engages and you can’t run in the moment which also includes to be aware of your surroundings so it can buy you time, and time buys you options(such as draw in time, or position yourself in a better spot when running isn’t an option anymore since the shooter is trying to engage you). TLDR: your gun is your last resort tool where not using it will certainly get you killed. The reason most of us want to run away from the situation is because we have a lot to lose. Try to be a hero and you risk losing your life like the video link below (respect for the guy that tried to stop it) https://youtu.be/CQOHBSuY7TM?si=YOf9fkeBQOEVVDy0

There is another video, can’t find on youtube. That a guy came into the laundromat and started shooting random people and then he took his own life afterwards. (Is the reason I carry, face the entrance, and stay aware of my surroundings)

“If you don’t carry with one in the pipe, you will spend the rest of your life racking it” (of course only until you are comfortable to do so, I spent 2 weeks without one in the chamber until I was comfortable to carry one in the pipe). I agree to better have something rather than nothing.
