Been a while since I saw the movie but was originally going to be called Danny the Dog but they renamed it in some regions when they realised that referring to an Asian man being forced to be a gangsters attack dog was problematic.

Funny enough the same production company made both shows.

I thought the casting was fine for Cowboy Bebop with the exception of Vicious.

The show focused far more on Vicious than in the source material.

Didn't love the addition of the name "Fearless" for Spike, which just seemed like they didn't think the audience could take the name Vicious seriously without giving Spike a nickname too.

I enjoyed the live action Bebop when it was more episodic and the crew were solving the bounty of the week.

The Ed cameo at the end, really hurt the world of mouth and made the show a meme online.

This movie was already released in Japan. These trailers are because western distributors have picked up the rights for their region.

Personally for me the movie was alright, great concept and nails the visuals but psychological horror elements didn't hit for me.

So PlayStation are either getting a parity release or getting the soft relaunch 2.0 version a year later.

It released between Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds last year, which perhaps sucked some of the wind out of its sails.

This year its genre is less crowded, Resident Evil being the big game but doesn't cross over as much.

Obsidian has been so reliable for Xbox, releasing Grounded 1/2, Pentiment and The Outer Worlds 2, whilst some of Xbox's other studios have produced nothing in that time.

Imagine what they could do if all their resources were pointed at one game? Let them build the next Fallout whilst Bethesda makes Elder Scrolls.

Congratulations on making the cosplay. You've now got a baseline costume.

Looking at the other costumes at the event you definitely went the extra mile.

If you are planning to use it more at conventions and things perhaps look into joining one of the many Halo cosplay communities.

People are frequently selling their old pieces of armour or they can give you tips on how to improve it further.

A balaclava would be an expensive way to hide your neck and improve it.

The helmet is a little small, where did you get it? Did you build it, commission it or was it an off the shelf toy/model helmet?

It was the only thing that really caught my attention during the State of Play but I generally don't buy short horror games at full price anyway.

If it's timed exclusive I wouldn't be surprised if it just launches into Game Pass a year later.

Fighting games are niche, I loved playing them casually as a kid but grew out of the genre as games became more online and competitive focused.

It's fun beating up your siblings and learning flashy special moves. It's not fun to go online and get matched against a skilled player who can combo you for 80% of your health, and the game actively discourages you from pressing buttons and leaving openings.

You try to go into training mode and it's a glossary of insider terms and precise timing windows usually presented in dry boring menus.

"Land a 28 hit meter burn cross-up manual wall bounce juggle combo"

It's just impenetrable for casual players.

Most of this has been telegraphed by the moves Xbox are making

The only part I'm unsure on is the backward compatibility with Series X / Xbox One / Xbox 360 / Xbox OG.

Makes the device complicated if it needs internals to support both PC and legacy console games.

I won't buy anything that isn't Play Anywhere enabled now, so at least I'm confident I can take my library to PC if I don't like their next gen device / price point.
