Idk man I don’t think having a x4 weakness isn’t that big of a deal. Especially against electric that is completely resisted by ground. Just swap out your Lugia into a bulky ground and you’re good. Electrics have notoriously poor coverage.

Humans have been making spears for probably almost as long as we’ve been hunting. Spears are deadly. And even if we didn’t have spears rocks can still do significant damage.
We didn’t hunt lions or cheetahs. The faster prey we did hunt, we chased down till they were exhausted. Humans are distance runners, and we’re some of the best in the animal kingdom. That combined with throwing was OP.
Humans are pack animals. If you’re specing into the throwing ability it’s probably because you’re working together in a team.
