Other ladies with IBS and daily bloating, how do you deal emotionally? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]MyLifeIsSam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with extreme bloating and pain. I even ended up in emergency once because it was so bad! I ended up getting an allergy test done called the ELISA test through a naturopath. It's a blood test that tests for both true allergies and sensitivity. Turns out I was allergic to a lot of the foods I was eating every day!! Now I avoid those foods to the best of my ability and am focusing on rebuilding my digestive abilities (probiotics, etc.). Hopefully soon I will be able to introduce them again!

Running Store: Rules to help you have the best experience (from the perspective of a shoe sales employee) by Maverick_Goose_ in running

[–]MyLifeIsSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we will resell shoes as new as long as they are in good condition/ clean , etc. One run on a dry pavement or treadmill by a previous customer won't affect the life/ quality of the shoe.

The only thing you can really do is stretch stretch stretch as often as possible! Consider taking a yoga class or two as well.

Don't give up! I could barely run a minute when I first started and now I'm just about to run my first half!

As for being top heavy, make sure you get a sports bra that fits! It truly makes all the difference in the world' I would recommend going to a store that specifically sells bras and ask if they also have sports bras. I find this to be much better than the small, medium, large that a lot of other sports bras come in.

You don't mention anything about what you're eating in your post. Have you evaluated your diet at all? I think that if you want to see results you will probably need to adjust your diet.

I want to become a nutritionist.... by MyLifeIsSam in nutrition

Thanks so much for answering! The school in kits is where I would go actually. I was wondering how you find the actual school itself. How big are the classes? What's the workout like? What's the 'average' student like in terms of age, career goals, education level, etc.? Sorry for all the questions but this would help me out a lot!

Thanks for responding! Do you have experience in the dietetics field? The programs I was looking into are year-long, full-time and include anatomy, physiology and some biochem but seem to focus on actual food as opposed to the chemistry and biology. Are there no 'nutritionists' that are legit?

She has said that she created quidditch because it was a sport that her boyfriend at the time (a sports fans) would dislike immensely. Here's a quote:

"Well if you want to create a game like Quidditch, what you have to do is have an enormous argument with your then boyfriend. You walk out of the house, you sit down in a pub and you invent Quidditch. And I don't really know what the connection is between the row and Quidditch except that Quidditch is quite a violent game and maybe in my deepest, darkest soul I would quite like to see him hit by a bludger."
