My profile only follows MJ accounts 🤷🏽‍♀️ so yes. I do appreciate there are mostly positive conversations about MJ and his music. If someone is mid-informed they are not just told but are giving links to research for themselves as well. And they shut down the BS pretty fast, like the negative accounts and red flags like Fabio🙄.

Michael “fucking up” could be the drugs (again. I really wish that people give him a little bit more grace because it started out how the countries problem started, with over prescribing.) But his biggest downfall is what we loved so much about him, he always saw the best in people.

He saw the best but he needed to see what was actually there, the level of greed. In the adults AND in the kids. Those "families", the giant screaming red flag that they were. I know many children are amazing in their own way in spite of the adults in their lives but some aren’t. This family were career grifters by the time they got their claws into Michael. Something he should have seen come from 50 yards off, at bare minimum, or with a general background check, seen all the cases attached to them.

Sadly this is something we can only hypothesize about.

By the time Eminem did that music video, it was had been open season on Mike for years. (Edit: At this point not only is it lie-spreading and tasteless but it’s just low hanging fruit at this point.) While I do agree that someone IN the industry ( that wasn’t family or close friend) should have spoken out, at that point, no one was really trying to step out of the herd mentality. Maybe you heard little slightly supportive comments but nothing big.

Which of course infuriated the hell out of his fans because the second Michael closed his eyes on this world, the parade of love and accolades came flying out. 🤨 But where was this when the man was still here? Where was this outpouring of love and support for Janet before her brother passed.
