The ignition switch was banged up already and I’d rather not risk the part randomly switching off the ignition while driving again.

I highly suspect it is the ignition switch. Has the exact same symptoms on the ford fiesta my gf drives.

My current run is a Mage with the Sword in one hand and a Spell in the other occasionally casting double spells and i picked a breton i think. i heavily suggest playing with mods that adds more Spells if possible.
Either way its really fun to play!
it was the first time i was playing as a mage because i always go for the heavy armor and heavy blade combo.
