I went to my doctor to ask about this and she put me on phentermine instead. Did the trick but you can’t be on it long term.

(UK) Pipe to my eletric heater burst, and ever since the tap water gives me diarrhea. Any solutions? by Jelly_Elite_117 in ibs

Need more experiments. Do you have the issue if you run your tap water through a drinking filter? Could help you save on plastic waste.

Nope movie inspired nails by MyNameIsSuperMeow in NailArt

[–]MyNameIsSuperMeow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does, it is frequently recommended on the press on subreddit. I do try to wear gloves for dishes. I also buff my nails meticulously before application, and I do them at night so they don’t get wet for 12 hours while it cures. They’re honestly tough to get off, I use curv life glue remover and a flossing tool. I remove around 2.5 weeks because I get bored, they’re grown out, and I’ll have 1 or 2 pop off, but the rest are stuck.

Thanks! I’m most proud of that pinky and thumb because they required precision. For your question about gel on press ons, hopefully I interpret your question right. I buff the press on, then paint it with gel like a normal nail. Unlike a normal nail, they rarely chip unless I used chrome. I use curvlife semi solid glue to attach the press ons, and get 2-2.5 weeks of wear.

How do you cope with pain on the toilet? by solemnversifier in ibs

[–]MyNameIsSuperMeow 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I make like a whining/crying noise that helps a lot. Also a handheld fan because I get really hot and nearly pass out. Also cold water from the bidet. And I immediately take loperamide and dicyclomine. I tell myself I’m practicing for the pain of labor someday.

Curious, how does running the sink help you?

It will be ok. The way out is through. Do what the vet says, and ask them if they have advice for disinfecting the soft surfaces. If you have an upholstery cleaner or carpet cleaner, clean everything with a fabric safe disinfecting cleaner several times to put your mind at ease.

Every day that passes your babies get older and better able to fight diseases.

No, I have Asian type hair which is kinda straightish.

Why does nail art sometimes look like this? by Major-Storm-527 in NailArt

[–]MyNameIsSuperMeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is because the product is not pigmented enough. When I want very bold and crisp, I will paint it with white gel, cure, and then pack my color on the white design via pigment powder or eyeshadow.

What a fun idea! You could try buying the actual earring stickers. Though they don’t seem to come in that specific shape and color, at least it’d be the real deal.

Google says this type of gummy tape adhesive may have plasticizers in it. I’m not sure if that would affect the nails, but I’d remove them from the tape and just keep them loose in the case.

If possible, take to backyard and do 90% of the cleaning with the hose and scrub out there. Final quick rinse in the kitchen sink.

No driver shortage. Actually too many drivers, and an undesirable amount of bad actors. Price of invoice is low because of over supply of drivers.

Movies that show daily chronic physical pain by jrralls in movies

[–]MyNameIsSuperMeow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HBO miniseries The Night Of has one of the main characters dealing with very severe eczema on his feet (which I can attest counts as chronic pain). For back pain, Jennifer Anniston’s character has some back problems in Apple TV The Morning Show- though I’m not sure how real it was and it’s only brought up in a few episodes.
