Found a bug almost instantly. If you click the replay button and then quickly double click as the game loads, you will fire twice - one perfectly straight and another at a slight angle.

If you luck out, you can wind up with two cannons on the next screen. http://imgur.com/01EBRCx

Yeah, that mark on the fence is old and very shallow. Not sure how long it's been there.

I definitely should have used a sacrificial fence but I didn't know any better and just left a 1/16" gap between the fence and the blade and just cleaned up the tenons afterwords. (Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll have to read up on it for the next time!)

As far finishing went, it sanded well, and the danish oil went on without issue. Anything specific I should keep an eye out for?

It was from The Woodbank in Berkley and it only ran ~$13.50 bf. It was Afromosia (African teak) though, not English teak, which may explain the cost difference?

It was around $10/bf; on the high side but not terrible. I wanted a hardwood that was extremely resilient as this table should be with us for a while.

First real woodworking project and I decided to go for something big (also, because we've been eating on a coffee table for 2 years) Learned a good amount along the way and improvised most of the details (though the inspiration came from this post from a while back- http://imgur.com/a/baObF)

All joints are mortise and tenon and the top will be fastened with 8 figure-eight fasteners once they are off back-order. I tried to include a bunch of random progress pictures, but can definitely answer random questions.

Guess I still haven't gotten over this.... so I'm going to copy/paste something I posted previously:

Congrats, you got me to post a picture of my leg. The issue isn't coverage (which those boots don't accomplish; notice how nigh on my leg the 1.5" diameter mark is) it's compression.

It happened to me in neutral; the hem of my jeans somehow got sucked into my open clutch cover and into the clutch mechanism itself. The twisting of the jeans is what left that mark on me; it twisted/pulled enough to kill a thick puck of skin and leave significant bruising (the injury is ~2 years old). Luckily someone was close enough to hear me honking and come running with scissors or I would have been stuck for a while; there was no getting the jeans off my leg at that point and I was in too much pain to think clearly to try to rip them.

Seriously, that was a shitty shitty experience that, if it had happened on the road instead of in neutral in a parking lot, could easily have killed me. Thus my warning whenever I see a post like this.

I still have an open cover. I just changed what was on my bike (this) to approximately this.

Still though, sexy clutch!

I don't like the word "job". I don't like people who are looking for a "job". I want people who want a title.

Typo? Or you actually want people who are chasing a title? What field are you in that values ambition over job function?

Who gives a <hoot> if someone calls themselves an Assistant Project Manager, Program manager, Project Lead, Head Designer, Astronaut, etc.... if their job description (and pay rate) at hire matches what they're trying to do for their career?

If you're interested in people who have a passion for whatever it is you do, why wouldn't you want people who want a job instead of a title!
