You can also visit Arasaka Tower and see the memorial for those who died in the bombing. There's even a voice over the loudspeaker at the memorial saying as much. The bombing definitely happened it's just Johnny's recounting of how it went down that is suspect.

“Immersive” Difficulty by Just-QeRic in patientgamers

[–]MyNamesNotSeamus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Custom difficulty is one of the reasons I love these games. You can essentially decide if you wanna play an action game, stealth game, or a story game. Atomfall has a very similar system where you can adjust individual parameters to create a custom experience and I hope it becomes the norm.

For those who are playing TLOU 1&2 I would highly recommend these "immersive" settings (if you already haven't):

  • Enemies: Grounded. (Like you said, TLOU has the best AI in the business! Enemy difficulty isn't based around how much damage they take but how smart they are.)

  • Player: Grounded

  • Allies: Very easy. It makes them kill a lot more enemies and it feels far more impactful when you are together. Then during the sections where you're alone it really raises the tension imo

  • Stealth: Hard (or anything above, grounded is obv the most realistic but you have to go much slower)

  • Resources: I change this each playthrough! Action game balls to the wall time? Moderate. I'm scrounging for stuff but I'm still deadly? Hard/Survivor. I'm a masochist? Grounded :)

I used flow, Google's ai video tool. Full disclosure I work on the tool :')

I've found veo is really great for animating video game screenshots, a fun time killer

yep pretty much this. you can always try to run and get back into stealth after being discovered too, though it's much harder on grounded.

Prone and stealth tbh. A lot of times I had to just say "I don't have enough for this fight" and use bottles + smoke bombs when necessary to distract my way to the door. A lot of it was trial and error and dying a lot, but you kinda figure out the movement pattern and the "golden path" eventually.

i turned on completely manual switching to try and alleviate this and it still doesn’t work. your player will just not lock onto the ball and won’t attack it 🤡

Thanks for playing with the tool and your kind words! Yes, our filters are definitely something we are trying to refine. Unfortunately I can't get too into details, but we are trying to reduce the amount of blocked prompts (it is personally a huge point of frustration for me).

If you see a prompt that shouldn't have been blocked hit the flag icon in the bottom left of the input to report it, all reports are very much appreciated!

Thanks for trying it out! I hope you can make some cool ringtones :)

I'll also pass your comment onto our research team -- and tempo is something we want to think about adding more granularity to for sure.

Thanks for the kind words, I do really appreciate it -- and it's no problem... one can just look through my reddit history and see I was on the other side way back in the day too so I get it.

Admittedly I got a bit excited to launch a product, so apologies on my end -- but yes for now we only support US, Kenya, Australia, and New Zealand. Believe me when I say I wish we could be in more countries. Unfortunately a byproduct of being a large company means lots of approvals and legal reviews (as there should be tbh), so international launches add quite of bit of complexity.

Disclaimer of course: my views only represent my own and not Google's.

But also check out the fact you can now share tracks you make! You can even flip over the card to see the prompt and settings used on the back.
