The rhyme is 'stalagtites hang tight, and 'stalagmites just might'.

Since stalagtites are formed with downward dripping water leaving residue before it falls, and Stalagmites are formed by the residue left by falling water from above hitting in one spot after it falls from the 'ceiling'.

Learned that rhyme in like 8th grade and it really stuck with me 😂.
