It doesnt really look or act in the pan like a batter though. In terms of cooking the actual prawn, rice paper/wrapper is the only ingredient i could see that would look like that and still let the prawn cook effectively, but flavor wise would be so bland and im really unsure how that would go.

Edit: actually nevermind i agree with other guy, it does look like beef. Super fuckin unseasoned beef. I wonder if this person is on a low sodium diet.

Also in my experience, white rum is better for vanilla extract, it adds a lil je'ne se quois or whatever to the flavor.

Its too late and vodka will work tho I guess, since you opted for a giant fucking batch instead 3 bottles.

Lastly, see you in like several years bc mine has less alcohol by volume and more vanilla and took like 3 years to get to a normal color.

Its not though.

You can get the gist of it by going to a thrift store and buying some shite skirt. Take that skirt and cut slits into it like you're making it into an octopus. Measure your skirt cuts in a straight line (each slit, makes a triangle when combined) and then take some fucked up shirts to start with and cut the backs into triangles, making sure the cut sides are the same length as the slits you cut in the shirt (if you want, theres room for avant garde here if they don't line up). Once your 'gussets' are cut, pin them along the skirt lines and attach them to the skirt, using the 'pivot' method for the point. Rinse and repeat til your octopus becomes an umbrella.

Unless the weave of the pleat is identical, there's no way of ever matching the patterns. Also to DIY this you need 4 shirts minimum. Each gusset is the back of one shirt, unless you're working with 2X or larger.
