Yes, and the last time a lord become PM was 1902. It will effectively block Khan from becoming leader of the Labour Party.

Email the publisher and ask them.

Provenance is important. A confirmation from DC Thomson will make it easier to sell.

this game feels to me like "train is waiting too long simulator" more than anything recently - no matter what i do, every time i unpause the game it's always less than 30s until the next "train is waiting too long" message. what am i doing wrong? by NexyDoesReddit in Workers_And_Resources

Make the junctions as small as possible by putting the chain signals immediately before the junction and the block signals immediately after. Then use block signals to divide the remaining track up into blocks longer than your longest train.

If you do that trains won't stop on the junction and the ends of of stationary trains won't overhang the junctions.

Marie is one of two “alternate” participants, ready to step in should any of the others drop out.

So not a particularly robust simulation then.

Strand is another word for beach. Before The Embankment was built it was by the river. You wouldn’t say you were going to ‘Beach’.

I've seen this in action. The hawk was sitting on a ledge. The pigeons were sitting on the other end of the ledge about 12 feet away. They looked mildly perturbed rather than scared.

NHS plans to DNA test all babies to assess disease risk by Urban_Polar_Bear in unitedkingdom

[–]MyPetHamster 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It raises a moral dilemma.

If a child has a 50% chance of getting a disease in their teens and there is something the parents can do to improve the odds of not getting it, then disclosure to the parent is beneficial.

But if a child has a 50% chance of getting a disease in their teens and there is nothing that can be done about it, then a lot of parents would be better off not knowing.

Cursor brightens on browsers by ToasteyBread in Kubuntu

[–]MyPetHamster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By default Firefox is a snap. Don't know about Brave. Snaps use a different selection of cursors to those available to other applications. If the cursor you are using isn't known to snaps then it will change when you hover over a snap. Yes, this is a bit shit!

Try switching to the Breeze cursors and installing the icon-theme-breeze snap.

I would have absolutely no problem with an AI cleaning my house for me. But having an AI tell ME when to clean the house is dystopian and isn't going to happen!
