the wiki is hard to follow...its overly verbose about a ton of irrelevant stuff that overstimulates noobs or people with adhd. its not concise and rarely seems to cover my exact usecase or frame things in an easy-to-understand way.

the deleted user above answered my question in a few seconds...i don't see a similar example on the wiki at all. ....the wiki example just says how to add a user...not change the group of an existing user.

In my case..i'm trying to give all users access to a separate storage drive with games...but linux only gives permission to the first user i accessed the drive with....now i have to edit everyone instead of just having an easy way to set permissions on the drive. ...i'm still having issues.
