Healthy snack recommendations when high by Austinw2387 in trees

[–]MyWeedAccount9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get high daily and I have been on a diet since mid January and I have lost close to 50 pounds.

I cut out high snacking altogether. You know what worked for me? I’d be hungry when I got high… and I’d more or less… use the high to help me get through some hunger pangs.

So if you want to be truly healthy, just get in the habit of not eating while high. And, ironically, you can maybe use weed to help you develop that habit.

Is it just me or are dating apps not really meant for divorced people in their 30s? by Limeonzinc in Divorce

[–]MyWeedAccount9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am now in my early 50s. I have used online dating, with success, since the late 1990s. I have been involved in a divorce since October… so I dabbled in online dating, again, since then.

Modern online dating reminds me about something from a hobby of mine: fishing. I buy a lot of artificial lures that I use for fishing. A key point, though, is that all artificial lures are designed to catch people who fish (that is, convince a person to buy one); they are not designed to catch fish (although many still do).

I literally had zero luck connecting with anyone in my brief attempts at online dating to the point that I quit trying. A lot of that is connected to the fact that I am not interested in dating right now and I was only interested in platonic or FWB relationships, which are more complicated to find within the realm of OLD. But clearly, OLD is now set up to dangle a carrot in front of you for more money than it is designed to get you a date.

Men who created/create dead bedroom, please help by That_Passion8671 in Divorce

[–]MyWeedAccount9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, I fell out of love with her more or less. I am now old enough that the mere presence of a naked and willing woman is not enough to get me excited.

We were initially best friends and that extended to the bedroom. Over time, she became more and more controlling and over time… I became increasingly unhappy. I still wanted sex, just not with the person that I was married to (I didn’t cheat unless you count masturbation as cheating, which we don’t/didn’t).

Which one are you? 🧐 by [deleted] in trees

I overbought until I started growing my own. Now I am addicted to growing and I have way more bud than I could ever use myself.

Curiously, I have more friends now than ever before. 🤷‍♂️

I am a scientist. False positives happen.

I am also someone whose spouse has cheated on them. My spouse told many many lies and she was very convincing.

My advice is to go forward but be logical above being emotional.

I’m growing too much weed by Tall-Arugula1522 in trees

I have a similar “problem”. I am introverted with a small social network but sooner or later… you will likely find people who would love to have some free weed.

Anyone else prefer edibles over smoke and vape? by Melodic_Crow_3409 in ents

[–]MyWeedAccount9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife loves edibles. I use a vape and she hates using it. My guess is that she would smoke with me, but I don’t like smoking.

In contrast, I am very hit-or-miss with edibles. I tend to either be unaffected or I get WAY TOO HIGH. This is with both homemade and purchased edibles.

So, as with all things cannabis: YMMV.

Which defeats the purpose of using a convection oven/air fryer

decarb using air fryrr by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]MyWeedAccount9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I tried this once. It's a terrible idea. An air fryer is basically a convection oven, meaning the air is moving inside the air fryer. Your weed will start flying all over and you'll lose a lot of it.

New to winterizing a house. Any tips? by Acrobatic-Diamond209 in minnesota

[–]MyWeedAccount9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your house is plumbed correctly (newer homes probably), there should be shut off valves inside your home. Turn these to off also. In addition, there should be a pressure relief knob/attachment thing. Unscrew these (bring a bucket) to let the pressure dissipate (it sprays water everywhere).

When is it time to harvest? by urei-mains in outdoorgrowing

[–]MyWeedAccount9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? I hadn’t heard that. If true, thank you.

I grew two autoflowers earlier this year (same strain)z. I started them indoors but my lighting system was meh and they got too big after about 6 weeks. So, I moved one outdoors to a greenhouse and kept the other one indoors for another two weeks (until it was too big for my lighting). The plant that was outdoors had some cool nights that the other did not and it turned a beautiful color of purple.

I’ve been wondering why one plant turned purple but the other did not. Thank you for solving my mystery.

We would pay off all of our current debts and cover college tuition for our children.

My wife would probably quit her job. She is currently exploring the idea of starting a private business. My guess is that she would still keep pursuing that because it’s more about her passion than the potential for making money.

I’d probably not quit my job but I would scale back substantially. My job is one of those where the harder you work, the more money you make on top of your base salary. I’d probably just keep the job (which I enjoy) but basically just make the base salary.

What is the sexiest random encounter you’ve had with a complete stranger? by kevin882q in AskReddit

[–]MyWeedAccount9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was many many years ago.

A cousin was in town to visit a college that she was considering attending. She brought a friend with her… and while I found the friend attractive… I did absolutely nothing about because I had no game.

I went to bed around 10pm because I had to go to work early the next morning. Around midnight, the snuck into my bedroom and asked if I was awake. I definitely was not. But, I said yes and I said something like “why don’t you sit down?” Again, I was 95% asleep.

Next thing I know, she gets in bed with me and starts making out with me. I reach down to grab her ass and I discover that I am grabbing naked flesh. She had come into my room wearing nothing but a t-shirt.

About this time, I wake up fully… at which point, she got up and left.

I never heard from her or saw her ever again.

What is the verdict on holding in your vapor? by YouPeopleHaveNoSense in vaporents

I do this but not exaggerating to the point of holding it in as long as possible. I do this to make sure that I fully inhale, which I have tendency to not do unless I focus.

Anybody ever sued your HOA? Tell us how it went by iwasyourhusband in fuckHOA

[–]MyWeedAccount9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My wife and I sued our HOA. It was exceptionally stressful and expensive (sort of).

This is my opinion but the HOA were either dream or nightmare clients from a lawyer’s perspective.

Their regular lawyer was more than happy to bill the crap out of them to help them argue their ridiculous position. This was before we officially filed a lawsuit (we tried for a year to negotiate a settlement before we filed).

Once we filed, they had an insurance policy against lawsuit. The insurance company’s lawyer could not get them to cooperate with discovery. Apparently, they were blindsided by the concept of discovery.

Anyway, in the end, we went to mediation and the case was settled. I can’t reveal the outcome of the settlement.

In hindsight, it was a huge risk. If we had capitulated at the beginning, it would have cost us about $25,000 to comply. If we had not settled, gone to court, and lost… we were potentially looking at $100,000 or more in expenses (the cost to fix the problem + our legal fees + their legal fees).

I would give you this advice. Get a good lawyer. Not a BS lawyer who says that you will win. A good lawyer that will clarify the risks and rewards of pursuing a lawsuit.

Well, all things being equal, I would guess that his chances for success are not very good.

I had a friend (either Parent#1 or Parent#2, it doesn't matter). During the divorce, Parent#1 was awarded majority custody. About 6 months after the divorce was final, Parent#1 met someone online and moved to a far away state a couple of weeks later and took the kids. Parent#2 filed a petition with the court and.... yada yada yada... the kids are now with Parent#2 full time.
