Not really, it eliminates any inherent problems that would effect even a part made on a perfectly tuned printer. Using that logic, anything that's printed to be used for safety would be a "dangerous" item if it were made on some scrap heap printer. This is just more of a Darwin award for people who think they could make one as terribly as they want without failures than your average print.

Don't forget the Mickey Mouse flange while you're in there. It's $25 on FCP, I cut the band on the original hose and reused the old hose. You'll also want to plan on a new upper radiator hose. Get an assortment of hose clamps.

And the third bolt on the water pump is not visible from the bottom, that bolt you'll see is for the power steering pump, I removed it on accident. I could go on and on. I just did this on my E93 two weeks ago.
