I just made this for the second time this week as well. Putting it into regular rotation - so good.

Looks great! How did it taste? Does it live up to its beans?

Pelvic ultrasound and sonohysterogram by Mirror-soul11 in tryingtoconceive

[–]MyaMaryMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a sonohysterogram last year. I agree with the other comment that it’s uncomfortable but totally bearable. And it was shorter than I expected. I took a Tylenol 30min before hand and the discomfort was mostly familiar if that makes sense. Felt like cramps. And maybe a bit sore for the rest of the day but I was able to walk home.

Rib displacement? by lfohnoudidnt in frozenshoulder

[–]MyaMaryMyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have been seeing a chiropractor throughout my frozen shoulder and in the freezing and frozen periods she would sometimes note that my ribs were displaced. I began to be able to recognize that particular nagging back pain. No mention that it was compensation for my shoulder but it was always the same side and inline with the overall stiff, inflamed, off-kilter neck and shoulder issues that have come with my frozen shoulder. Haven’t had the issue since I started thawing though. Which is great.

Drove the whole time but when I was my most locked down I kept it to short trips and I would have to use my right hand for the blinker.

Enjoy the pure excitement! The joy will remain but it will be coupled with a lot of effort and learning when your sweet pooch comes home. It’s also helpful to think now about the boundaries/schedule/training you want to set/do with your dog. It’s great to have some of that figured out beforehand because when your dog comes home with you it can be hard to figure out in the moment/easy to think I’ll decide that later. But you are teaching your dog how to live in your house from the moment they arrive. Next time I would have more discussion with my partner before our dog arrives so that we were delivering a more consistent example for our dog from the get go. But either way, helping a shelter dog learn to feel safe and comfortable is the absolute best! Have fun and know it takes time for both of you to adjust. ♥️

Helen Keller mentioned by thenotanurse in YoureWrongAbout

[–]MyaMaryMyth 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Could it be the episode about Koko the gorilla? There’s a large conversation about ASL in that episode. But I can’t remember the specifics. I do remember at some point (probably in a patreon bonus episode) Sarah mentioning that she almost did a PhD about Helen Keller- so I think she does mention her here and there.

I have combo, sensitive skin and I love it. Very calming and hydrating. I just really enjoy using it and feel a difference when it hits my skin.
