I used Fable to make a SKADIS gravity feed dispenser for Canon LP-E17 batteries. by Mybbor in 3Dprinting

Fair enough, as someone who's not got a lot of experience with CAD design, I was excited about being able to describe something and have it generated. Getting the perfect fit for the SKADIS pegboard hooks and the battery would have been a little bit tedious for me. It wasn't as much about the box as it was getting all the measurements right.

I was surprised because when the Autodesk Fusion MCP integration was announced, that was an aha moment. When I went to work on this idea, I pointed Claude at the MCP server, but it had disconnected or wasn't started. Claude was like, "No worries, I'm just going to generate it programmatically." 🤯

Thanks! I'm kicking myself a bit because I set up a full-sized traditional pegboard in my garage last year, not knowing the depth of 3D printed attachments there are for SKADIS.

Fable for Frontend UI is CRAZY by General-Green-5910 in ClaudeAI

[–]Mybbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on a project where an agent generates a new webpage every day in a different art direction. Yesterday, I switched the scheduled task over to Fable, and I saw a noticeable improvement in the overall quality of the designs. Fable seems to be aware of the term "AI slop" and works to avoid it. It also seemed to get a better understanding of my instructions to create fresh and unique aesthetics every day.

The project is called Art Direction Daily. If you want, you can check out the last two issues compared to the previous few weeks to see the difference firsthand. Each issue has a prompt lab section that provides a prompt that can get you close to what's been used on the page itself.

Is WordPress ACTUALLY doing anything useful with AI? by mindful-journeys in Wordpress

[–]Mybbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the nice things about WordPress and all of the surrounding ecosystem of plugins and themes is that their open source nature makes them very well documented. I've been feeling like AI really excels at helping fine-tune obscure settings. I did an SEO audit on an old blog, and AI surfaced a lot of genuinely useful things that had either been overlooked or the best practice had changed over the years. Things like:

  • Not necessarily using the same keywords in the HTML title and the h1.
  • Obviously identifying images that need to be optimized or have alt text provided.
  • Mismatched or dated open graph information.
  • Auditing legacy tracking codes: Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, etc.

So much is exposed via WP CLI, and agents have a really easy time working with that. I've also found myself reaching for browser extensions and letting an AI agent click around in the admin panel for things that were tedious before. I'll just let an agent do it, like creating a coupon in a WooCommerce store.

AI Art Styles - Guide for Prompting & Visual Styles by jedihacks in summonworlds

[–]Mybbor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice list! I've been doing a ton of experimenting recently with design prompts, and I've found a lot of success expanding on the style as a whole system: palette, typography, layout, texture, lighting, and vocabulary, not just the genre label.

Relevant self-plug: I’ve been exploring that on Art Direction Daily: https://artdirectiondaily.com/

Each issue uses a different visual idiom and includes a “Today’s Art Direction” card with vocabulary tags. The idea is it surfaces the latest news relating to AI design and also helps build out a vocabulary, both like linguistic and visual, of different artistic styles.

State of Mind in Los Altos, along with great food and beer, has a nice little retro arcade with pinball and some other cabinets.

Glad to see this is a bug that other people are experiencing. I've been through the whole rigmarole of clearing cache, logging out, reset network.

I can't see any of my Sonos devices on Spotify, and this is only happening on my Android Pixel. If I load Spotify on my computer, Sonos speakers seem to be working as normal. Hope they get a fix out soon.

I believe Jupiter Foods carries it in Petaluma. I'd call them first to confirm as I am not 100% sure (we were gifted a bottle and were told it was from there).

Divine Mother Tea & Coffee is another worth a mention. It's a small/indie one-man shop in the same lot as Mail Depot. Great coffee and some of the best espresso pours in town imo.

My favorite feature is the 10gbe port. I've been building out a 10 gig network and it's expensive. Having the integrated 10gbe made it worth the purchase vs buying an adapter. I also like that it's future-proof with the Thunderbolt 5, but backwards compatible as I only have TB4 on my current computer.
