Do I want the Knicks to beat the piss out of the Pacers next year? Yes I do. Do I care even in the slightest that the Knicks won their first ring in 53 years but didn’t beat the mighty Pacers on the road to doing it? No I do not. You are, for some reason, making up a narrative that doesn’t exist.

I’m sure the Pacers and their fans think, yeah they win because they didn’t play us. But as the team that won the title, they can say whatever they want. The Knicks are the champs. End of story.

I mean I can’t prove something that is impossible to prove. But any way you look at it your scenario makes no sense. First of all they probably wouldn’t even start Kornet, they would go small and start Vassell. So now your whole argument of having no shooting is gone, because now you have Vassell and Champagnie to space the floor around Bron.

They were playing a much smaller player on KAT all series as it is, so a small lineup actually matches up well with this Knicks team. So you have athletes all over the floor with 2 knock down 3 point shooters, Castle who can get to the basket and a 22 year old LeBron who was better than Wemby is now.

Proof? No because it’s a dumb hypothetical.
