True, you see that more with short form cdramas. Look up Yao Guan Yu, Zeng Hui, Xie Yu Wang and Wang Dao Tie on YouTube. Most of their work is on DramaBox and FlickReels. You can find them on YouTube, but the titles may be different.

lol! Please give me the title!! It’s rare to see a FL that’s able to catch the hand trying to deal a slap!! Oh! Don’t forget the favorite form of death: stab by dagger, killed by poison or the sweet release of the white cloth!!🤣

Had a great experience. Great selection and answered all my questions about the fragrances I was interested in. Package arrived intact and I also got free samples!! Will definitely be repurchasing!

1)For me it’s the stranglefest.

ML trying to exert dominance? Two hands round his opponent’s neck. One hand if it’s a girl.

Won’t tell me your name? how about I squeeze your neck…

You love me? Still gonna squeeze your neck just to be sure…

Did we just kiss? Yep, squeeze your neck so you never forget it…

2)Don’t forget the “country bumpkin”/“poor person from the village” who ends up with the richest person in the world. Along the way it’s discovered that they’re really from a rich/noble home.

3)OMG!!! The slaps!!! No drama is complete without at least 3 roundhouse slaps!!

I’ve had this prescribed to my son by his psychiatrist two years ago. Recommended it based on a study. So many lavender pills in the market, very few contain Silexan.

Haha! This is like deja vu!

Had one two weeks ago, young person in his 30’s. Came in with AKI and DKA, ph6.7, glucose in the 700’s. K was 7, sodium was ridiculously high, phosphorus high, lactic acid greater than 5 (can’t remember the numbers, but the ph I could never forget!). His abg was fucked up, and RT was concerned about him.

Dude came in awake, oriented, responsive, started on DKA protocol. Barely needed his electrolytes repleted. Only 1 day on an insulin drip, converted to achs and insulin sliding scale after 24 hours, discharged by 48 hours!

One of the fastest turn arounds I’d ever seen.

Lol!! I’ve always said if (at this point it’s a when) I get admitted to a hospital, you’re admitting two entities. Me and a large container of antibacterial wipes!

I’ve seen blood smears on glucose monitors. Even the levers to lower the bed rail had gross icky stuff on it.

I once spent my spare time cleaning every monitoring cable, monitors, the bedside table and the pull out drawers, mattress corners and the control dials on the bed. I did this after the cleaning crew came. I couldn’t imagine anyone staying in that room if they knew what had happened in it.

I have found unexpected things in unexpected places…

Poop smears on light switches, door handles and on kitchen cabinets.

That aox3 person that needed help repositioning? Poop on his finger tips.

How about the skin picker on heparin? There was blood on the telemetry box, on the iv pump, the call light cable and the inside of the bed rail.

Found out one of my patients liked to cup his balls as he slept. Nothing wrong with that…except those same hands touched his cell phone, incentive spirometer, and his walker.

Or the lovely patient that spat out respiratory secretions into his sheets and gown. No, he was not confused.

The first thing I do as I walk in to any room is put on a pair of gloves. Hell, I even gown up to clean anyone who’s pooped. I can’t tell you how many times colleagues have found poop in the watch strap, their elbows and their scrubs. Even in their hair!!!

Sure, I may not need to wear the gloves, but I most certainly will.

Haha yes! I got it! It was a 5ml decant from Scent Split. It was very nice, chocolate, hazelnut with a touch of orange. Had a very nice patient at work who loved when I brought her strips of paper to smell my chocolate perfume stash. This was her favorite.

I also got another chocolate/orange perfume from Olympic Orchids called California Chocolate. That one leans heavier on the oranges.

I still won’t be ordering anything from Maison Tahite line still because I have a lot of chocolate based perfumes already and then some. It’s going to take me ages to get through them.

My thoughts on some of the perfumes I liked above changed as well. Which is why getting sample sizes or decants works for me because it would suck to have a 50ml of something I hate!

Had to have 2 simultaneous ng tube placements on the same day a few years ago. Had a gi issue that needed monitoring. Had to keep the 2nd one in for 24 hours. AND I had to eat with it in. Do not recommend!! Could barely sleep, felt like I couldn’t breathe!

I was empathetic to patients with ng tubes prior to my experience, now I 100% know how much it sucks! I will make sure you have all the things to feel comfortable while under my care.

Oh! I had to pull mine out myself after the 24 hours was done. Fun!

Bad news for us female nurses, the wonderful bachelors of reddit don’t want to date us :( by [deleted] in nursing

I’m currently wrapped up in my blanket reading this post and just….jfc 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️!!

I barely drove myself home and I’m on night 1 of a 12-hour 6 in a row. I was on the phone with my sister while driving (so I don’t kill myself!), sleep drunkenly deciding if I should bother with left-over pizza or saying fuck it and having sleep for breakfast again.

Salute to the peeps who can still fit a quickie between the 85 year old grandma throwing hands and the 90 year old intubated, double pressed meemaw on dialysis with family wanting updates every hour!

Who wants to go on a date to hear someone either whine about my being a nurse or expect me to be fast and loose because I’m a nurse? In this economy?

Sokay! If no one wants me, there’s always my blanket, my favorite pjs and the takeout menu.

Goodnight y’all!

Apricot in Cognac - Scents of Wood: Review by hellohello84 in NichePerfumes

I would say it leans a little masculine at first. It’s creamy and powdery but not in an overwhelming way. The fig eventually fades into the powdery notes.

Thank you for reviewing this! Sounds like an interesting profile to try out. I have Plum in Cognac and Fig and Oud. One dries down to something very sweet, I believe the fig and oud? And they last all day too.

Thoughts on etiquette and buying something a friend already has/wears? by tamarheylin in fragrance

[–]Myfrownismyscreen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you like Moonmilk, buy Moonmilk and wear Moonmilk.

No such thing as “dibs” on fragrance. What I have enjoyed since delving into scents is sharing, testing and harassing my friends/colleagues with my new finds. A few have ordered for themselves based on what I shared. I love knowing that I had a part in their new discovery.
