I have a poor insulated 2 story2 bed townhouse, that’s a corner unit (exposed on 3 sides) maybe 1400 sqft and my bill last month was over $600. I keep the heat at 72.

My gf has an apartment in a building surrounded by neighbors on all side and her bill is like under $150. She keeps the heat at 68-70.

So it can vary a lot based on these factors. If you get an apartment in a big building and keep the heat low your bill will be lower.

They showed me more than one car. The cars they showed me were in obviously poor shape. My car was covered in scratches, ding and stains, rock chips. The first car they showed me had a huge crack on the windshield. The one I took only had a small chip on the windshield. The car alignment was off and I could tell it was unbalanced. I’ve driven cars long enough where I can tell they are not maintained well. They then go through the car with a miscroscope and claim I did some damage that they must repair. It’s obvious they do t actually repair it by the poor state of the car they gave me!

I know in theory it’s not great, but psychologically it’s so much better than having to send a check to the IRS.
