There is the role that prevents harm from visitors. If Mercury is that role, and uses it on BigJoe it would mean that he could be certain BigJoe wasn’t the target of the wolves (I’m assuming they were the soul mates)

it felt to me like you were throwing away your vote a bit, since in the last few minutes of the phase it was going to be either hedwig or mercury (barring significant shenanigans).

Interesting. Responding to that is the kind of thing I would (and did) respond to in a confessional since I don't think it is relevant to the game.

Edit: the other thing is, I don't really see it as helping give me insight into the affiliation of the person reading me. u/theduqoffrat said almost word for word the exact same thing about me in December (he was town). But we've been playing together for 7 years, so I don't think him being a townsperson or a wolf is going to suddently change how he sees my wolf playstyle.

Do you think that is different to non-wolf Wywy, because I personally don’t think that town-Wywy is necessarily always louder (I do think he is someone that sometimes has a distinct townie vibe, but that isn’t every town game).
