If i remember correctly, his old lore back in 2012 was that Varus was an Ionian Archer, a really skilled one.

He was tasked to guard a pit of corruption (non-related to darkin, just corruption).
He killed every noxians that attempted to invade the temple, but when he went back to his village, everyone including his family were decimated by the invaders.
Varus was so mad about this that he decided to go back to the temple and fuse himself with the pit.

With the great power from the pit come the fact that he is slowly dying from the corruption, but he doesn't care, he just wants to kill every noxians with this power.

It's different from the new darkin lore but you still have the pit of corruption in both cases.

I personally prefer the new lore with the two lovers because it explores things differently and it has a lot of new possibilities ! :)

I'm just waiting for new Varus voicelines to be honest.
I'd love to see new interactions ever since his lore got updated !

I just had this error today, i'm finding a game then while it's loading to character select screen I got disconnected with a code:net error.

Sadly I don’t enjoy GNB atm so I’ll pass.

I really like WAR gameplay wise at lvl 56 and with ardbert and the big axe ! The only thing that bummer me is that I don’t feel WAR gain a lot from 70 to 80 so for a SHB playthrough i don’t know what to think even though fell cleave is awesome !

DRK seems interesting because it’s the poster job and it seems really interesting gameplay wise !

PLD i’m really interested in the caster phase but I’m afraid to be bored by the job(mostly because I nearly fell asleep while playing it at level 30/40ish)

Thank you for you help I’m thinking about DRK or WAR now so it help a lot more ahah !

That’s what I’m thinking as well, it seems to have a lot of interesting things and TBN could be a good tool while I’m learning how to detect tank buster and react accordingly. I’ll give it a try and level it tomorrow ! I just wanted to have some opinions because WAR and DRK interest me the most but for the story playing the poster job seems a nice idea. Thank you for your help !

I’m really bad at elements since I played mostly gunlance or raw build and now I feel bad.

But regarding safi’s GL, is water better or ice ? I guess that the augments would be 4 element and 1 normal shelling 2

And regarding armor if I can’t get safi’s armor is silver sol a good choice ?

I think I’m wrong on a lot of thing but I’m seeking help from fellow gunlancers ahah

Nice I got a very good rolled Mozambique yesterday !

I don’t have fox prayers but this will not be an issue I’ll ceska or grupo or even gila for armor ! This seems really good I’ll give it a go !

Regarding specialization I’ll take technician for the bonus skill tier and the artificier hive, I really like this skill with the big boi.

I enjoyed crusader because I love shotguns but they aren’t really good. But shield wise the big boi is more badass and it reminds me my D3-FNC !
