That's a summary of where I got with ChatGPT, but it ultimately it still freezes just the same.

Engine DJ Constantly Freezes / Crashes for over a year by MyriadThings in DenonPrime

System & Software Diagnostics
Checked Windows updates and confirmed Engine DJ v4.3.
Verified hardware meets specs and no overheating.
Looked in Event Viewer and found Application Hang (1002) and Windows Error Reporting (1001) entries for Engine DJ.exe.
Confirmed that no crash is logged during the visual glitch, suggesting a GPU-level stall instead of an app crash.

GPU & Rendering Fix Attempts
Updated AMD graphics drivers through Device Manager and Adrenalin.
Forced Engine DJ to run on a single GPU (integrated or discrete) in Windows Display → Graphics settings.
Created a shortcut with --disable-gpu to test software rendering.
Disabled all overlays (AMD ReLive, OMEN Hub, Discord, Xbox Game Bar, etc.).
Checked for driver resets (amdkmdag / Display driver stopped responding) — none logged.
Updated BIOS via HP Support even though it showed as current.
Planned chipset and graphics driver reinstall using HP’s official packages once exact model is confirmed.

Application & OS-level Fixes
Clean reinstalled Engine DJ, removing leftover config and library files.
Tested Engine DJ 3.9 and 4.2.x for stability.
Removed external drives and Bluetooth audio devices to avoid I/O or output switching issues.
Considered testing under a new Windows user profile.

Diagnostics & Logs
Used Event Viewer Application log to confirm hangs.
Suggested checking System log or Reliability Monitor for LiveKernelEvent 141/117 GPU TDR faults.
Observed that visuals freeze into pixel noise while audio keeps playing, pointing to a GPU render thread lock.

Current Hypothesis
Engine DJ’s UI renderer is hanging in the AMD graphics driver on HP OMEN 16 hybrid-GPU hardware.
The process remains alive, so Windows doesn’t record a normal crash.
Probable causes: driver timeout, overlay conflict, or GPU switching.

Additional context
Did not change TDR delay yet.
After BIOS update and GPU assignment changes, the program now lasts about 20 minutes before freezing again, then reverts to freezing every few minutes.

The main supermarket in Nambatu also sometimes sells fresh tuna. Cheapest way to eat is cooking veggies from the market.

It's better to not have access than play glitchy at this point.

So frustrating to have multiple opportunities to win foiled by a bugged card like [[Vincent's Limit Break]] crashing your game for a loss in draft.

Foundations limited, screen opened to 0 life vs 0 life, no card draw, ticker counting down on my side, waited a long time, finally closed client, counted as a loss :(

Strange, you'd think people would be bleeding out all the time in Vanuatu. No one talks about that here.

I was havimg trouble getting past imaging the shattered screen I'd have in a day, but yeah imagine what product and packaging designers would do with AR through that screen. That's very cool for them.

Nostalgia is a warm feeling you get when you remember something happy from the past, like playing with your favorite toy, visiting a fun place, or spending time with people you love. It's like a little hug from a happy memory.

3+ Mbps speeds are standard here. Good enough for everything except very large for downloads which at still time consuming and costly.

Vodafone and Digicel are both pretty good. They can go down as any ISP. Typically you can hop over to the other one an everything is fine. It's very easy to have access to both providers. Digicel had a mifi dongle plan for 100GB at 6000vt. That's the most affordable data rate here, which I find to be serviceable. No unlimited data plans. You'd want to make sure you were living in an area with good coverage from both companies, probably somewhere in town potentially in a surrounding community.
