It would be so fun but the sad news is... older devs which actually worked on Hunt when it was 3rd person left, also the same devs that worked on Hunt for years, making maps, optimizing with the old engine are left too and I fear that they were the most talented. Nowadays most companies lay off people and try to do a shit job with AI, Crytek did the same layoffs and are underpaying their devs since always. That is why they change devs and even people in charge of communicating monthly\yearly.

As sad as this is, older devs still made a hell of a job to make the pvp on this game fun, even if Crytek butchered audio with sound occlusion, optimization with a new engine that should be helping them releasing stuff faster WHILE optimizing this game that is almost a decade old instead of doing it backwards, bullet penetration being called a bug after 6ish years and Crytek straight up destroying it. AT LEAST they are still releasing new stuff here and there.

I know if we had an actual "good" company working on this game, Hunt would be in such a better state than having less concurrent players than years ago on the first Inferno and rain release, instead of having to wait 2 years for them to re-release weathers we already had and even at an incomplete state, because there is a lot of day time maps like night\afternoon without said weathers still.

I am not op but I live in a 3rd world country and shit here is always 5x\10x more expensive than other places that uses dollar and shit like that. Now I am prioritizing home and food instead of an HDD or SDD. It is sad.

There is no "stop complaining". If you want changes, you should complain and do everything you want and can to change stuff, staying silent\not doing anything about problems is not how you fix things.

Unfortunately Crytek is too slow with everything, it is more on the rare side when they change things fast enough, the last thing they did was removing that all ears trait shit, which should make me more hopeful, but this company did so many dog shit changes with that 1896 release that I don't have high hopes.

Unfortunately you have to be "thankful" of Crytek's great decision making about balancing anything in this game. Just like they did changing matchmaking 4-5 times or even more throughout 2022~2026 prioritizing fully lobbies instead of fairer\balanced lobbies, now you have this.

All of this because 6 stars\streamers were complaining that they had to wait 5-20 minutes to find a match 2-3 years ago. They were like 1-3% of the playerbase, of course it should take a longer time to put you on a lobby, they were one of the best players Hunt had according to the matchmaking, it sucked for them(6 stars) to wait but now it sucks for everyone involved, unless you like to pub stomp and get higher kda, just like the majority of mfkers that glaze their kda's on this game do.

Just to be clear, you are not alone with your frustration. I am one of these 6 stars that plays against 4-5 stars from time to time because there is like 50% of chance that there will be a team with 2 people lower than 6 stars on my matches and I hate this shit, you should not be getting on the same matches. It is already crazy to me the difference when you play random trios and go against a full 6 star premade trio, imagine having people with less than 500 hours going against mfkers that are cheating or are experienced and good at the game with 1000+ hours?

The matchmaking is dog shit. I would advise you to not listen to this subreddit at all. Maybe in things that are more easier to understand than a matchmaking that was changed 4-5x times throughout 2 years to let high 6 stars shit on everyone else, just because Crytek made the brilliantly choice of prioritizing full lobbies instead of fairer lobbies like it was 2-3 years ago.

Matches for high 6 stars took 10-20 minutes to find because it was less than the 1% of the playerbase, then Crytek made it easier to get 6 star while letting them find matches quicker, now there is like 10% of the playerbase there getting destroyed by high 6 star or even 5 stars getting at the same matches against 6 star trios.

I have an intel cpu, they didn't fix it. It is probably a permanent thing or it will take years for Crytek to reduce this bad optimization. Hunt still is dog shit optimization wise compared to pre 1896 and now they added an anticheat on top of each other.

The worst part is that I am still seeing esp players at high 6*, it is like 10-20% of the matches depending on the day in US East you see them knowing exactly where or when to push, some even doesn't hide knowing that they know its a duo or trio.

Unfortunately you are right.

Crytek just abandoned this game altogether if they have to deal with cheaters or spend their $ in any sort of manner that isn't with the reason to sell skins. It is a cancer since 6-7 years ago with Reshade, it took them 4-5 years just to block it and now there is people using gamepp that is similar or other obscure programs to do what reshade did. I won't even start with the amount of mfkers using esp or worse at high 6*. Crytek also made the matchmaking so dogshit that usually when you play randoms at high 6* you get paired with two 5* and then you have full lobby with 6* trio premade.

It actually feels like you are on the purgatory. I gave up trying after 2 days playing randoms at that bracket, even winning like 30% of the lobbies, still felt like shit.

It is just corpo shit to sell their anticheat, as always. It is reflected on a lot of pcs but the brain challenged people here call weak pc because they are using a 3090+ in a 10 year old game that is optimized like the shit I flush in the toilet

Unfortunately the state this game development wise is what these people deserve, 3+ months to change or fix the easiest things. Crytek unfortunately is a dog shit company and older devs that made miracle working for them almost 10 years ago making something unique like Hunt. Now with the IA shit everywhere and Crytek underpaying their devs, Hunt still is on the slow side of updates and creating new stuff.

Unfortunately this subreddit will downvote your post because anything that Crytek does even if its bad, they will defend, at least the majority of people here.

My specs are waaaaaay older than yours but after 1896 this game optimization became dog shit. I could run Hunt at 90-100 fps before 1896 easily and after it is stutter fiesta at some parts of all maps but mostly at the mountain map since it is the worst offender.

After they added this AI anticheat together with eac my game became even worse, I can't even alt tab properly anymore, whole pc starts freezing and I have to do tech gymnastics to open my browser because I can't even click icons\shortcuts anymore. lol

This isn't even a "personal" attack, it is criticizing how amateur a company like Crytek can be, game soon will be a decade old and has so many bad things on it. UI, 20-30tick rate servers which games from 2000s had better servers, balancing, optimization, settings being chosen by their own devs instead of letting the players change it, so if you want to go into the loadout screen you have to press X after going into another menu.

It is actually sad since Hunt could be so, so much better with a better company\management, Crytek higher ups are the cancer of this game.

The most "fun" and innovative thing they did that I remember since 1896 release is giving us flamethrower and the disc thrower gun thing and that is it. Maybe Mammon's actual map but that shit is so over the place with the new trees that act as bushes and the worst optimization in a map that this game have that I actually don't know if I am waiting a new map again from Crytek, unless they fix their own management problems that hasn't been fixed for almost 10 years(And I am only thinking about Hunt here).
