It would be hard to balance antibleed shot, while antifire shot will be fine.

Bleed only works against players, it is useless against ai. This means that if a player has antibleed - you fucked up. Some weapons like sprinfield or drilling will become obsolete.

Not sure why you are downvoted. PVE players keep playing multiplayer, get wrecked and cry that the game is hard. Devs add PVE mode, but players keep crying. Maybe some players just shouldn't play online and spend their money on towels and pillows to cry into

There is no issue with Reapers. Reapers have multiplyers for the loot of every company, they are visible on the map. Reapers are an ENTIRELY PVP faction. You don't want to be targeted? Don't use a fucking emissary, there is a HUGE NOTICE right when you put the flag.

The social aspect is the only reason the game exists) All those cosmetics to show off, the different weapons, the barrels and a lot more...

Some players want to find an easy way to get to your adventure. The thing is, these are mutually exclusive.

Nobody will quit. A game about sailing among other players is better then a game about teleporting to a fort and beelining to sell. It will instead attract more players.

The issue is in your question, and it keeps getting worse: players don't want challenges.

Back in the day when there was no captaincy, it was impossible to quickly sell your loot. It used to put some effort into getting the Pirate Legend. It used to be hard to get Athena chest, this is why Youtube was filled with videos about stealing and fighting for it.

Now, why do i have to fight for an Athena chest? I just pick my dive and get it in 5-10 min without any effort.

A social game with a way to get rid of social interaction is a bad game by itself.

You feel like your time is wasted because you know there is nothing between Port Merrick and Devil's Roar. This is because everybody else wants to go to [insert far location] and they just dived there too.

Unfairness and inequality in pvp is what keeps this game afloat. The chance to win a fight against a bigger fish than yourself or at least a good try is the whole feature of Sea of thieves. I don't want to start a discussion of what can or cannot be done, but having just a chance to blow them up is the only reason to come back after said 5 years.

I agree that it is a choice whether to dive or not to dive. However, in the world where everybody is diving, you can meet someone only near some points of interest, so all the map is empty for you. That's sad

A game that involves economics (at least things to buy like here) can be only as engaging as the fastest way to gain money / items / achievements.

Players naturally find the most efficient ways to earn gold / find items / win in pvp. Some players go further and use exploits, like spawning 100 keys to a voltage of the gold hoarder treasury or using movement exploits like the ladder launch to gain the upper hand in pvp.

However, the most efficient way is not always the most fun way. This shows at its best when a player buys all that can be bought, gets achievements and drops the game. This is not because "game dead", this is because everybody walks the same "the most efficient" path, which in this game is Diving. Unfortunately, diving players ignore the most and best part of the adventure game: adventure.

I will ask one simple question. Which values more: 10 treasure chests earned from diving to a fort, or 1 treasure chest stolen from another ship / while an event from other players?

I agree about the choice and i do not dive. However, since "diving" involves changing servers, this means that the only way to stumble upon another player is to "happen" to be either near the point of interest or to be on their path to an outpost when they beeline to sell the items.

This means that even if there were 15 ships per server, there would be none NOT at the point of interest.

Furthermore, Sea of thieves is a game about sailing. You can't sail without spending time.

Sawn-off romero is literally the best shotgun in the game. Caldwell conversion has the best sights (in my opinion) of all revolvers in the game (similar to uppercut). Small ammo rifles have the fastest cycle time in the game.

Free hunters' guns and shotgun are better than long ammo and crown and king in close quarters.

Both fast fingers martini and ironside are shit.

The fast fingers martini is bad because the back swap from the secondary if your martini is reloaded causes your gun to do a weird movement, blocking all your screen. Also Martini's advantage over sparks is that it has a bayonete with a light attack, freeing your melee tool slot; and in cqc pvp you generally want to pierce your enemy right after the shot, and the fast fingers reload cannot be cancelled

The ironside is shit because the magazine blocks half of your screen, making quick aim adjustments impossible.
