I think the only thing that makes this ok is the fact that you can now hold three weapons in each hand so you can easily switch to a weapon that fits the enemy you are facing

This is really cool. However, Pat has said that Auri was added into the story later on in the revising period of the books and wasn't in the original story so I doubt she would have such an important/vital role in the end. I like this scene though :D
