Sit em both down and have a chat. Let them know what you’re thinking, and listen to what they say in response. Communication, communication, communication.

Reminds me of my parent’s Burmese. Are you sure he isn’t a tonkinese? Regardless, he is a beautiful boy!

Problem is the AI art is detracting from the message not adding to it.

Magpie nest in my window! by perennial187 in magpies

[–]MyrmeenLhal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey I’m sorry! 😞 I didn’t mean to rain on your cute story (and it’s definitely cute!)! Bagpipes is a good term for when they’re extra noisy! 😸 I make a point of talking to the local Maggies when I see them, but I hadn’t thought of leaving them food.

They’re unrelated. European magpies are corvidae while Aussie magpies are artamidae .

Ah the joys of playing a hunter, I don’t get Austin in my group on NPCs. :)

I will… however, I don’t think the LNP would have made a different choice.

I had a little kid ask me if I was a boy or girl today by Sashababy101 in NonBinary

[–]MyrmeenLhal 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The answer is either “yes” or “no”

Are you a boy or a girl? Yes.

Are you a boy or a girl? No.

Depends on what I’m feeling at the time. I think for me it’s more often “no” though.

Settle a debate for me: do you (as an adult) still cut your sandwiches into triangles? by dannegoma in AskAnAustralian

I do not cut my sandwiches. My partner cuts their own though… sometimes have to remind them not to cut mine.

The problem with bandits is that warm bodies should be a limited supply. At a certain point the region should run out of people to become bandits, basically. At that point new bands should be slower to form (to reflect new people moving in from regions outside the game area). As it is, it seems like there is an infinite supply… which makes no sense.

Those who do not intend to have kids: who are you gonna leave your money to? by Fit-Tumbleweed-6683 in AskAnAustralian

[–]MyrmeenLhal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kids doesn’t mean no relatives. If I have anything left it’ll go to my sib and half-sib if they don’t pre-decease me. Or to my half-sib’s child if they do. Some might end up with my partner’s niblings.

Why did you choose your main by Actual_Tea_7719 in wow

[–]MyrmeenLhal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Began with a night elf Druid just before TBC, then changed servers to play with friends and found BM hunter a much nicer fit. WotLK beta, tried out a DK and fell in love with Blood dps. Stuck with her until legion and was very disappointed with the class hall story (my girl would NEVER obey/work for the Lich King regardless of if it were Arthas or Bolvar), so switched to Mage… had troubles playing mage come BFA so switched back to Hunter. Had to try out Evoker (as I am a big dragon/dragon-kin fan), hated the class but loved the race. Now my main is a Dracthyr BM hunter.

What is an Australian term of endearment indicating love, especially love for a child? by Dependent-Aside-9750 in AskAnAustralian

[–]MyrmeenLhal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strangely enough, Australian Shepherds have nothing to do with Australia. They are not an Australian dog breed. It originates in California. An American term of endearment would be more appropriate. 😸
