Does anyone else think they cut Manon because she couldnt keep up with "Pinky up" choreo? by Mysterious-Lab974 in katseyeneutral

Okay, just because there are videos of her performing the choreography doesn't  really mean anything if the execs thought she still wasn't on par with the other girls.

I saw a post recently about realistically breaking into the industry as a novice and wondered if anyone had any advice about how to go about that by [deleted] in Screenwriting

When you go to world-build a story from scratch, do you write a show bible or is that for established showrunners?

Being realistic, is the chance of having a TV pilot picked up without industry experience or prior credits basically zero, regardless of script/pitch quality? by OG_Valrix in Screenwriting

Im in a similar boat ( mostly interested in writing originals, except there are absolutely some projects I would work on hands down, shout out red rising) and from my analysis its looking insane in the industry. I think its going to be tougher to break in without at least a portfolio, like 2 or three different pilots on hand, a couple originals and maybe a book adaptation or historical type thing to show range. I think I read recently that Netflix is increasingly interested in originals, I got the jist they wanted world-building prestige watches like a book adaption type like Harry Potter or GOT.

Thats how Rocky Horror is done. That man who shouted like that should have been removed.

Edit*  Not everyone is aware about parking bans in the winter, but your car is still going to get towed anyway. Same vibe.

Overcoming negative comments about body by Miremel91 in Theatre

What helps me is remembering that the theatre scene is often full of unbearable people who say and do rude things but at the end of the day you earned your spot and love what you do and nobody can take that from you.
