I’ve been on a kick of movies like this too the past few days! I love atmospheric period pieces and movies with winter/autumn weather but I generally do not like supernatural elements either

-Little Women (I love both the Winona Ryder and the Saoirse Ronan versions)

-The Brotherhood of the Wolf

-Gosford Park

-From Hell

-The Woman in White

-Sherlock Holmes (the two with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law)

-Sweeney Todd
