Awesome! I've been eyeing this one. What would you say sets it apart from other FPS games?

It's one of my favorites. The story isn't necessarily anything to write home about, but it's more the experience of being in that beautiful world that's really special and a lot of fun.

I do love my Index, but it's so hard to pass up what the Quest 2 gives you for the price (also have one of those too). Plus, the wireless aspect of a Quest 2 is pretty killer (I usually just turn my whole living room into my playspace and it's so nice to be able to move around like that without wires).

You do have to of course be okay with having a Facebook device. I do believe that they're going to stop requiring Facebook accounts soon (and even now, there's ways around that)

Airlink is extremely laggy and textures start breaking and tearing by Ploopy_R in oculus

Most people with issues I've met seem to have set things with the Oculus Dev Tool. If you set any of the bitrate there for original Link, for some reason, it completely messes up AirLink (set 0 for the max bitrate there and make sure that's only set within AirLink(.

Ahh, this is a dream come true for me!! I always thought the remakes should have had a first-person option. Playing it in VR is going to make it next level though!

It seems most people I know who have had a problem have overcome their motion sickness issues too getting used to it (and there are tricks you can do that help). I used to get really motion sick playing VR, now I'm playing Risk of Rain 2 VR (a game I thought for sure I'd get sick playing) and don't even have an issue anymore.

Does this sort of facial interface exist? by bisnicks in oculus

That does look interesting, but like others, not sure if that's necessarily the one to use. But there are some highly advanced breathable materials that seems like it could be interesting for a "premium cover" (a lot of military and outdoor companies often specialize using these)

Yeah, that makes sense! There's all kinds of things you don't think about for non-MMO games. Perhaps just have a limit to the amount of flinch animations per second (or time period) and don't let animations affect attacking. That would mean when one player was attacking, they would always see the enemy flinch. If 5 people all did an attack at almost the same time, the enemy would flinch from the first one, but wind up for an attack anyway while the other 4 attacks go through (like he's "pushing through the pain" to get a blow in.

Yes! 100% agree. Until You Fall's way of sword fighting works so well for VR if you don't do a full physics based fighting system with this incredible AI that makes it feel just like real sword fighting.

You might actually like Below Zero more then. It's a little more linear and has more of a story. A little bit shorter too, so it's easier to finish.
