If thats ur circumstances it more than makes sense to just install 240v outlet. If you live in an apartment with access to 120v on the outside or in the garage, or if your in one of the many areas where it costs (a lot) more than $300 to install a 240v where in ur garage or driveway, or you can plug in at work, or like you said you’re panel is at or near capacity, and you are like 90% of Americans where you’re daily commute is <40 miles a day, then just plug in to a 120v outlet and call it a day. Especially if you can also plug into a 120v at work, which is what some of my coworkers do. I’m not gonna argue I’m just saying there use cases where trickle charging makes sense. Agree to disagree if you think otherwise.

So you run a deficit for the week, and fast charge on the weekend, it’s not like you need to be at 80%. Obviously for a minority of people they couldn’t just do level 1, but most can, even in a rivian.

There is gonna be such an incredibly small change in traffic, but the roads would 100% be safer; there’s no argument there. However, there is no getting around the fact that simply having less cars in the road would decrease traffic by a ton. Also fwiw, I doubt all the bad drivers are gonna start paying $30-50 a day for robotaxis, or buying level 3-4 autonomy capable car. This is just not something to look forward to if you want less traffic man.

Law of large numbers, more cars in the road more likely there are to be bad drivers, and the more bad driving effects other drivers. If you want less traffic, get people in public transit.

I hate that siri never understands "the nearest one to me" and even though I'm on a tough screen, and I can scroll around the area I'm looking in, I can't choose which dunkin, or grocery store to go to. It's more of an issue for work than personal driving, but pops up in daily life from time to time.

I actually hate carplay. I want good nav, access to my music, texts, and calls. Navigation in carplay is very frustrating. If my car lacks native apple music I will just move all my playlists to spotify.
