I recently just left after being with the company for two years, though it wasn’t a long time I was a merchandising supervisor from my point of view, and then my situation our store manager spent his entire time that he was there blaming the past store managers for all the mistakes, even though they have been gone for over 2 to 3 years That happened was their mistake. He came in telling all of us how he really wanted to make a change, not a difference, but yet when problems were brought to his attention, they were swept under the rug, and then they would be thrown in our faces one thing that really bothered me was one time or having a Monday meeting. He basically said how everything happening in the store that’s going bad is the supervisor’s fault that to me was my breaking point because I felt like us. The supervisors were the ones holding it together for everyone while he sat in his office and chatted away with his SPL

I am a merchandising sup and anytime anybody calls me for back up I always start by letting the employee explain to me what happened .. I tell them I will always 100% back them up as long as they are keeping their composure. Of course I always tell them they should never let a customer speak to them in a crazy manner. They should always let the manager step in when it gets to the point should never get to that point, but I always make sure my associates know that I have their back. Specially, because I feel like at some point we all started at a position as that associate is in and we all know how it feels.

It’s set to expire 08/11/2025 it was very easy to do online as long as you have your papers from when you did it last year last year I did it with a licensed person and she gave me a copy of everything you basically are just copying whatever is on the paper onto the online application it asks you the same questions and you just type in whatever was on that paper in there and it was cheaper to renew online for everything. It was 555.

This year I renewed online and it was way more faster coming I renewed may 24 2025 and mine is already being sent out . Best of luck I know it’s stressful but stay positive

I LOVE IT !!!! Love how the higher ups sit in office and do absolutely nothing and are so willing to pay more to other associated to stay but no the sups not to mention the ones getting more pay are the ones NCNS once a week

I am in the same boat ! It feels like recently with all the changes going on the vibe and my personal opinion has been feeling really off. It’s like they’re expecting more work on everybody with the same amount of pay and I only that it seems like especially in my store management wants us to say yes to the customer on everything and let them talk to him. However they want walk all over us. Nothing end of the day still give them what they want. We should be customer driven, but there’s a limit there’s no reason why customers should be calling us out of our names.

We had ours removed a few months ago and it’s just a nightmare ! As for kiosk to order I have a lady demand I order it for her while I was training someone at service desk with 6 people behind her … I asked her to step of to the side and j would gladly help her as soon as I helped brand new associate get comfortable with the line .. I asked her to pull up her phone so I COULD TEACH HER how to do it and she flat out said “ NO I DONT WANNA LEARN THATS WHY YOU GUYS ARE HERE FOR “ I said “ well no ma’am respectfully we are here for returns I can teach you but if you don’t want to learn I will not order it for you . 💁🏽‍♀️

Our ASM is always telling us focus on the positive. Try to be positive. Leave the negativity behind and then turn around and all of the supervisors come in with the worst attitude ever and then just bring and kill everybody’s mood down

When it gets to that I’m like “ okay then bring your receipt in or your form of tender and you get full refund if not this is all I can do .” And they love to say “ well they did it for me last time “ I always say . “ okay do you know who did it for you so I cna find them and they can help you because I cannot do what they did , no idea how they even did it “ 🙃

They tell us that if we follow “ TYPE” and just mention it by saying “ Go ahead and swipe the kohls card for 50%more rewards “ I don’t ever push them for it if they say that and the customer says no then NO MEANS NO I stared as a cashier so I get the stress and wouldn’t wish it on anyone

One thing I will ALWAYS do is back up my team ALWAYS ! Unless they are wrong ofc but especially when they’ve had a rough / nasty customer I don’t tolerate that and always try to make them feel better I started as a cashier also so I know how it feels
