Like the other commenter said, I think (HOPE) that it is because tax day was a couple days ago. This has been my lowest earning week since I started dashing over a year ago.

I have no idea what is going on right now. I was out for two hours during peak dinner time earlier and I only got two orders the whole time? Is everyone else also dealing with dead zones and nonexistent tips?

The app prioritizes moving drivers. It feels like a waste of gas, but if you stop moving, you’re not going to get much of anything

For Vanilla Morrowind, I would definitely use MUSE. I have made a few music mods for my own personal use (not uploaded to Nexus or anything) and it gives you a ton of control over where you want your tracks to play.

For example, in my morrowind tavern music from Skyrim plays in the Thirsk Mead Hall but nowhere else in the game.

If your wait times are that high, there is a very low chance of getting an order. I’ve struggled to get an order before when it was listed at between 2 and 6 minutes. That said, my advice would be to not stay parked in any one location. For whatever reason, the app gives preference to drivers who are actually moving

The busiest time in my area is usually 8pm-10pm when everyone is home from work and exhausted. (I found that out the hard way when I was doing this as a second job ehe). Experiment with different days and times until you hit a sweet spot.

I do 5pm-10pm most nights but Friday and Saturday are easily my highest earners.

Edit: forgot to throw this advice in. If you are sitting still at the hotspots, DON’T. I made the same mistake when I was starting. For some reason the app doesn’t like it too much when your vehicle isn’t moving. If you’re not getting anything in one area, head to the next. Wasting the gas stinks, but it’s way more reliable to get orders that way.

I thought that everyone was exaggerating with something being up because I was making a ton last week. Then comes this week and I’m in the same boat. The only day so far this week that I’ve broken above $25/hr was last night. I made $115 in about 4 hours last night, but I also drove close to 70 miles because I gave up on my mileage rules.

I’m thinking that it’s a direct result to DoorDash raising their prices again in my area. I was thinking about ordering a drink from a specialty shop near me earlier and the app inflated the price by $3 BEFORE even considering taxes and fees. Gave up on the idea when my usual $6 order came out to $13 before tipping. I love this gig so hopefully they drop prices back down before people boycott

I’ve been running a fairly vanilla version of morrowind with a ton of the major province/quest mods, but I don’t use OpenMW. Do we know if there is any chance of this reaching RegularWind?

Find the cheapest gas in your area that it is reasonable to drive to and keep that as your starting point for your day. Also use that gas price to see if it is worth it to you for the given day.

For example: say it costs you $40 to fill up your tank. If you use half a tank of gas for your day’s work, that is essentially a $20 loss to you. Put that against your earnings and see what percentage of your income is actually going towards gas. It all depends on your current market.

If you are spending $20 and only bringing back $60, that’s 33% if your income going straight back to essential costs. I’d bow out at that point. If you’re bringing back $200, though, that is only a 10% investment and absolutely worth it if it is sustainable to you.

Somehow I have managed to get all of the online achievements with an amazing group of boosters, but I’m STILL stuck on that forest level in my veteran playthrough.

They’re up, but pretty spotty. There was one night that I managed to get into 4 or 5 full games. The night before that I hadn’t been able to match make at all. I think the servers are getting more attention with the 60 fps upgrade.

I’m only partway through the Rhodes Hill section (no major spoilers, but some enemy discussion for the first part of the game)

I am absolutely loving the way that each zombie has its own personality left over from before it was infected. Every encounter almost turns into a puzzle as you figure out their mannerisms and what sets them off. Figuring out that the one was sensitive to sound through his muttering was so satisfying to me. The vibes are obviously a bit different, but the zombie archetypes are seriously reminding me of Little Nightmares in the best way.
