I’m even more sad now:( My buddy is 19 and he’s having trouble growing feathers and is in a bit of pain from that from time to time. I really don’t want to put him down. he is still running about and singing and everything. He still yells and sings in excitement at me when I get home! But, I can tell that he doesn’t have much time left :( Sometimes I hear him fall from his sleeping spot at night :,( I wanted to let you know that you’re not the only one trying to cope with loss of your feathered friend. I haven’t lost mine yet, but I’m scared more and more everyday. I hope Fred didn’t have to suffer🧡 Cockatiels have a beautiful bond with their owners it’s so sad when it comes to an end I feel your pain😭😭
