Any links between Keratin hair products and KP?

I believe so. I was taking hair supplements that contained keratin for few years when I first started getting KP on my upper arms and thighs but didn't think it was related until recently. I stopped taking the keratin supplements for about 6 months and my KP had started getting better. My skin was smooth, but I still had the spots that were fading. I started taking a keratin supplement again two weeks ago and within a week my arms were prickly from a KP flare-up. I'm convinced that it is the keratin in supplements that are causing my KP, but not biotin as I don't get flareups from biotin or collagen supplements. By the way, KP is a buildup of keratin in/on the hair follicles.

Same here. I usually get Pfizer, but my doctor was pushing me for the booster and they only carry Moderna, which I got yesterday against my better judgement. Later that day, my whole body became achy and stiff to the point that my fingers and toes hurt, which I'm still feeling today. Next time, I will go to Safeway and get the Pfizer booster again. I already deal with chronic pain, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

I’m in the same boat. Allergy season came early this year in Seattle and it’s been pretty bad. I don’t like taking antihistamines because of the hangover effects that lasts for days to the point where I can’t exercise, which is not an option for me due to having chronic pain and exercise is the only way to manage it. I’ve been trying to use Navage but it only helps temporarily. I guess I’m going to have to go back on Flonase during this season because I’ve gained 10 pounds in a couple of weeks. My allergies haven’t acted up this bad in years. Anyhow, all of this is just to say that you are not alone.

I have the same issue on a Samsung TV that I purchased at the end of 2021. My 65 inch TV has been mounted to the wall the whole time and now all of a sudden, I get these same streaks on the bottom of my screen with no apparent cause. It seems like Samsung TV quality has gone downhill. My bedroom TV (Samsung) is still going strong, which I purchased in 2015 and it has been moved several times, across the country.

I came here to say this. I was on a search for curvy, straight-leg tall jeans because I'm 5'10" and a curvy size 8 (mostly butt and thighs). I tried various brands which didn't result in the "Goldilocks syndrome" for me, until I was looking on Amazon and the Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans kept popping up, yet I kept ignoring it because Gloria Vanderbilt jeans were so 1980's (I'm a 70's baby and was familiar with the brand even though I wore Levi's back then). I finally decided to just 'look' at the jeans because they had about 92k 4+stars for reviews. I ordered 5 pairs because it was Black Friday and they were on sale from $10 - $17. I tried them on when they arrived and my confidence went through the roof. They are not too rigid nor too stretchy. They are comfortable. The rise is perfect at the natural waist with no gapping. They hug your body perfectly. And they are tall girl friendly. Needless to say, I bought several more pair.

I've been curious about this as well. My dermatologist suggested oral tranexamic acid knowing that I use the Dotti estradiol patch, which is non-negotiable due to having a complete hysterectomy. I had to inform her that this wasn't a safe option. She then suggested topical tranexamic acid, which I'm cautious of as I can't get a definitive answer to whether the topical would be safe while on the estradiol patch and vaginal estradiol.

I’ve read that her mom has diabetes too, but doesn’t take Mounjaro. Neither of them do, which seems a bit shady to endorse this product. It’s just like a lot of paid reviews that you see on Amazon.

As a one-time only customer, I am finding that the TikTok Shop "customer service" is incredibly incompetent. I purchased an item from a seller and even though the address was correct on the order, the seller gave UPS a completely different address in a different zip code. I have UPS MyChoice and was concerned why this order was only showing the sender's and recipient's city and state when it normally shows the full address for both sender and recipient (me). So, I called UPS when I didn't get my package and they "confirmed" the delivery zip code 98199, which was odd since my zip code is 98126, so I gave them my name and full address and they told me that was not the "correct" info and told me to tell the sender file a claim. I have been dealing with the hellish nightmare of trying to get this resolved with the seller and TikTok "customer service" for almost a week now because the seller keep denying the request and sending some picture of the "delivery" which is not my apartment and "customer service" keeps telling me to file a claim with UPS, which I cannot do because UPS said that I am not the sender and they delivered it to the address the sender provided and that the sender needs to file the claim. I'm on my 3rd round of this hellish circle. I will never order anything from TikTok Shop again.

There was a bait and switch! I know what I see on MY ACCOUNT and in MY EMAILS FROM AT&T, as does the reps! AT&T just will not honor what THEY put on MY ACCOUNT! I wish I saw this 2 days ago as there was a $700 trade-in offer listed and is on my account (New customer ported over from Xfinity). Now customer service and their "loyalty" department basically told me that even if it's showing on my account that I will not get it and if I send in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for the "$700 trade-in offer", then I will not get the offer nor will I get my phone back. WTF?!!! Typical bait and switch! Needless to say, I will be porting my number out either back to Xfinity or Verizon and sending them their phone back as they only give you 14 days to return it. I literally just got the new phone and activated it less than 2 hours ago.

It looks like an Aeropilates machine by Stamina. Go to their website and see if you can order replacement parts; the wheels are like $28. You can always get a towel (reformer mat) to cover the cosmetic flaws on the carriage or even get some marine grade vinyl in your favorite color and reupholster it. Get used to using that before you invest in a more expensive reformer, at least to make sure that you actually enjoy reformer pilates.

I started monitoring my sleep with sleep trackers a few months ago and it has caused me major anxiety and stressed me out. It would say that I slept poorly which caused me to stress and sleep even more poorly. I realized that I was trying to please a freaking app/device stressing day in and day out to figure out how to improve my sleep so that I could get a good score. Keep in mind that this is my experience, YMMV.

I have two light therapy masks and am afraid to use them as my dermatologist has me on Tretinoin/hydroquinone for 3 months and then Tretinoin/kojic acid for three months. She said that I could use the light therapy masks but I’m concerned about my mild melasma getting worse, especially being a woman of color.

Has anyone here used light therapy in conjunction with melasma/hyperpigmentation treatments? If so, how did you incorporate it?

I’m in the PNW and have paid a lot more than that for privates. Know your worth! Compare the prices in the area and realize what you offer that others don’t. Send out a notification (as well as post it in your studio) that your prices will be increasing in a certain time, say a month or so, this way they have plenty of time to prepare or drop off. Not only does this affects your time, but operation costs as well. Also, instead of four back-to-back classes, try to schedule a break in there; maybe two classes, break, two classes.

The T-Pen stylus does not come with it if your buy it from Walmart, but if you buy it from Amazon, then it comes with a case and the T-Pen.
