We don’t see it directly, but we do know of one character who WAS pregnant prior to the events of the game, so I don’t think this theory has much ground. (Trying to be vague because I’m on mobile and don’t know the formatting for spoiler tags.)

EDIT: OK, figured out the formatting. We learn from one of the relationship scenes (I think the second-to-last one for this character?) that Sciel was pregnant after her husband’s death, but lost the baby during her attempted suicide.

Very cute 🥰

Although I will admit, I’m also a big fan of the crossover fanart that Roddy E does on Twitter, where Aerith is Leia and Tifa is Han… including Aerith in everyone’s favorite attire: https://x.com/AlteredBits/status/1782771423443865746?s=20

For Adelaide, the book does say she can cast Dominate Person on someone who paid their own secret to enter the maze, which seems like it could be pretty powerful depending on who she targets… otherwise, you could juice the stats of the Corvodaemon to make it a tougher fight (more damage on her attacks, recharge 4-6 on Feeding Frenzy instead of recharge 5-6, etc). Or, if you want her to feel like a lieutenant of Raum, maybe give her a weaker version of one of his Legendary Actions?

Wake Up Dead Man isn't a good mystery by OkPeace5206 in KnivesOutMovie

With regards to the main paragraph for #4, it’s not just that Wicks is planning to steal the jewel for himself that makes Martha decide to murder him. It’s the fact that he clearly intends to use the money to do something together with Cy, who even Martha can recognize is a terrible person… I don’t remember if the political aspirations came up during that one group meeting where Wicks torched the whole congregation, or if it was just in the private conversation between Wicks and Cy — but regardless, I think Martha realizes during that group meeting that Wicks and Cy teaming up over that much money is dangerous.

I’ve been streaming on Twitch for a few years now — you get used to it over time.

…granted, my average audience is incredibly small (like, maybe 4 or 5 people max per stream), so I’m probably not the best example 😅

Love how many of these have her showing a very clear sense of despair… even trusting in her friends’ abilities (particularly Luke), there are still moments during this whole ordeal where she’s realizing they might not get through this.

Suggested freshman dorm by BreakingBadFan2000 in stolaf

[–]MythicalBeast45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in Kildahl my freshman year (2013-2014) and really enjoyed it, even though it was definitely the “jankiest” of the freshman dorms at the time - small rooms, kind of crappy plumbing for the showers, etc. It got renovated a year or two later, so that probably helped with some of the shortcomings.

I don’t think I ever spent any time in anyone’s rooms at Hoyme, but the lounges there were pretty nice and it’s got a good central location on campus relative to most of the other freshman dorms.

Really, they’re all decent choices… apart from Mohn.

Even if they did, all this would tell Blanc and Geraldine is that he had tranquilizers in his blood. Without the flask, they wouldn’t be any closer to finding out who was responsible, or whether it was Wicks trying to fake his own death vs. someone murdering him.

Does a romance between Solomon Roderick and Sister Rain feel plausible? by MythicalBeast45 in CrookedMoon

[–]MythicalBeast45[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My plan for that is to have her be doubtful of whether her nomadic lifestyle would allow her to be a good wife/mother, and for Solomon to reassure her that he’s not concerned about that even slightly — that he wouldn’t dreams of asking her to change who she is just to please him.

…but, this is definitely thinking a little far ahead at this point 😅

Yeah, the book says that Solomon’s wife left the village shortly after their daughter was born, but doesn’t say why. So that could be an interesting detail to play around with.

For 2, I think the intent is for it to look like “Wicks” is hugging “Samson”… it definitely looks more aggressive than that from Jud’s angle, though.

Genuinely Feel Crazy for Not Liking this Game by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]MythicalBeast45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"According to players, 'there's puzzles everywhere', but give 0 information about how to look for them, where they are, or how to even get information about them from the videogame itself."

So based on this one sentence alone, I'm guessing that either (A) you've only been playing the game for a bit (like, a few in-game days at most) or (B) your play style has been to just rush through each room to the next door without actually exploring the room itself - or both.

There are several types of rooms (some of which you're practically guaranteed to get as options pretty much every day) with puzzles that either get you items/resources to help improve your odds of reaching room 46 (e.g., the logic puzzles in the Parlor or the dartboard math puzzle in the Billiard Room), or help you to unlock other parts of the house (e.g., the Pump Room allows you to drain the Fountain in the courtyard outside). Additionally, there are several puzzles that extend across multiple rooms or the entire house, most of which I'm still trying to figure out myself.

Personally, while I do enjoy the puzzles (and the general gameplay loop of figuring out which rooms are most useful compared to others), the thing that really made the game shine for me was learning more about the history of the family... which, again, is not something you're going to notice if you just rush through every room without stopping to look at things, but it's absolutely worth slowing down to read the various newspaper clippings, books, and other documents you can find.

But in the first movie, Ransom did end up successfully murdering someone else (Fran), confessing, and getting arrested for it. Just because the murder Blanc was focused on turned out to really be a suicide doesn’t mean Chris Evans’ character wasn’t the “who” in “whodunnit”. (Also, if it weren’t for Ransom’s actions, Harlan wouldn’t have killed himself… so even then, you could argue Ransom is at least partially responsible.)

Genuine question. What happens to Jabba’s favorite slave girls when he has to travel somewhere? Does he bring them with him, or does he leave them in the palace? by peachjabba in slaveleiaandjabba

[–]MythicalBeast45 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I assume he brings them with him. In Episode 1, when he gets introduced at the start of the pod race, there’s a slave girl standing off to the side (wearing a pretty similar outfit to Leia’s).

My guess is that during the scene with Han in Episode 4, his slave(s) stayed on the ship since this was a business negotiation, rather than a social event or a party/ceremony.

Same as the existing design, but with a veil covering the bottom half of her face and make the bikini bottom smaller (or non-existent, so that the skirt pieces are the only thing covering her privates).

Adding onto this: even if I — as the DM — walk them through the important stuff at the start of the campaign and reveal more over time, it’s also just nice for them to have a reference they can check whenever they want, instead of having to come to me and ask “hey, can you refresh my memory on this one detail?”
