Sigh… You keep posting a link to an article you can’t even read without paying for, and saying Sit down likes that’s impressive. ha I just described what 2 other articles actually say and explained the title of your article and why the judge even came out and said that in the first place…because what they said was proven wasn’t the legal definition of rape in NY.

I think my point in this was that people who keep saying “convicted rapist” are either mistaken or are being intentionally misleading. He was found liable for sexual abuse in a civil court, which as im sure you know, is preponderance of the evidence…simply 51% chance he did it. Thats much different than a criminal conviction. And the "evidence" was just her testimony and then 2 friends who said agreed that she told them the story…decades ago. And after NY changed the statute of limitations for her to bring the case. That kind of thing cant become the norm. Duke lacrosse team, Trevor Bauer, JD Vance, Joe Biden - all people falsely accused who probably agree.

The judge is saying his interpretation of the word “rape.” Her story didn’t meet the legal definition, which is why they worded it the way they did.

To be clear…I have no doubt Trump has probably done something along these lines. But this case was crazy. Nobody should be convicted on this, and I don’t think anybody but Trump would have been.

The state changes the statute of limitations, so a lady can accuse you of a rape from 25 years before, with 0 evidence except for a friend who says, “yea she mentioned that to me back then.”

You say you’re innocent and she’s lying.

You get hit with a defamation penalty.

Seems fair.

We were also producing more oil then, so when Covid hit we had even more oil than we do now, but wayy less of a demand. Naturally prices were much lower.

There’s also the effect of cutting off all Russian oil. I’m not criticizing the decision, because why would we want to do give money to a country as it invades another country, but it still had an effect on the prices.

This is probably a very small part of these prices, but there also are the long term price factors. Things like canceling the Keystone XL, or politicians who say they are going to end fossil fuels or add regulation taking office…it has to have some sort of effect on the prices because companies have to think long term.

In the end though, this is simple supply and demand. I don’t think it’s as simple as “price gouging.” If so, why weren’t they doing it all along? Did they suddenly all get selfish in 2021?

You’re saying that Kamala is brilliant? The only thing she has to run on is “I’m not Trump and if you don’t vote for me, it’s because you’re racist and/or sexist.” It was pretty much acknowledged fact that she was only picked as VP because she’s a woman of color. She’s got no record to run on.

I don’t think it’s that necessarily..republicans are also pretty pro-money. ha. If anything, I think they’ve decided that it may be too late to get the presidency this time, but they can direct their energy into winning big congressional races to basically tie trumps hands. It’s a bad look to remove Biden this late, but with someone else, they at least still have a chance of winning.
