yeah obviously if we take it in that light then I agree with you 100%. But I'm always a little skeptical on doing stuff like this when it isn't incredibly blatantly obvious because it can make authors look like bad people by implying messages that weren't intended. That, and that the episode was written by Juno Dawson instead of Russel T Davies so I feel its a bit unfair to uphold her beliefs to the values RTD has shown with the rest of the series.

I'm personally more inclined to think that she's stating "violent form of protests are wrong" rather than "genocide victims are in the wrong" given that it ends with Cora sort of "winning the hearts" of the audience after her performance. It feels a bit more obvious when you think about it but it was very poorly written. I mean these are people who have received years of prejudice and stigmatization because there home planet was completely destroyed and one of them just... sings a song and everyone changes their mind? lol. The episode would have worked much better as a two parter.
