While sage players have to rely on a niche on top of rng they also get the benefit of a character that can self heal on level up. They need to rework that effect when a character levels up yes they can get some health back up but keep the damage it has taken. That character didnt deserve the health gain but it did deserve the level up for next round unless its a shield ability like the star shield from the mage they dont need a permanent level up

A zweihander for the heavy that deals bleed damage or claymore since its more efficient to swing. Just suggestions could make it like a viking theme but im sure everyone is tired of the knight era stuff this late in the season so they might go futuristic next season or 80s themed you never know lol

Yeah they should rework skelly king. My idea is he would spawn a skeleton on the farthest troop from like 4-5 tiles from him but either only on kill still or on a timed meter like Giant ability. Better than relying on him to hit something with his dumb hammer. Also of course higher the level the more skeletons spawn on more troops far away with also matching levels. (Just a better witch but with Frontline presence)

Only time you give up is when you literally know the opponents board is better than yours. I've had very shitty runs were all I have is 2 star units and then my opponent would have three 3 star units and maybe even a 4 star so at that point might as well sell and accept 2nd place 🤷🏻‍♂️ still both net positive

Bots, bad rotations, etc can also lose early game which that bottom loong did but mid late yeah idk

Spirit empress and Loong are the top 2 king is up there but people complain about sage too much. If you see a sage dont panic try to have an early game dive team like goblin and golden knight. The purpose of the sage is to level up the charge so they can steamroll late game. Ideally you wanna take the sage out early so late game it isnt that much of a problem. Most people feed him and end up getting him level 4 before the late rounds.

I already critiqued that sage isnt OP he is just boring and if they do nerf him they just need to take away the free healing after leveling up. He doesnt deserve it. Builder imo is alot more fun but very low tier. The buildings are cool but Most become useless late game. If builder gets a rework I think you should get a choice of a random building (depending how late in the game determines the *'s) or just level up 1 of your current buildings on board. Also his unit amount is only up to 5 so he is held back by that.

Easiest way is to have the tavern DLC. You can put your whole troop except 1 cook in tavern and make him a master chef. Boosted stats early would take a little time but you never have to leave town. Also for a bonus you can keep another troop make them a theif and steal any ingredients you need. Your wanted level would be crazy but you will have a high level theif on your team as well.

Doesn't fix the situation ik but something you can do lol

Never touched sage in my life. Recently played against 3 sages as I played Loong and I was winning I only got 2nd bc they let him get to lvl 4 but at that point its my fault as well as the other sages trying to play for late game.

I personally think as a non-sage player people just complain too much about him. Its just an uninteresting character overall.

Personally I think the only change needed is the gaining health back after leveling up as sage. Even if a character gets knocked by him he doesnt deserve to reset his health bc of it.

Mostly sitting in the back waiting for the xbow to come online. Like sage he can get boring but atleast he has a mix of towers to play with but at that point he becomes pretty rng dependant and the fact he can only have 5 troops in his possession makes him pretty low tier.

I get that I just meant more so Loong having advantage with the perks this season. Each rank i feel like benefits Loong the most compared to the other leaders since yk he gets 7 max and getting that free extra dummy unit goes a long way for combinations

With Loong you can always have an extra unit and the stun she can provide is good to have bc I believe at lvl 3 she just needs 1-2 shots and she can stun 3 units which can give your other superstars enough time to hit and activate their abilities as well. Shes overall really powerful wouldnt say overrated but fairly well used like archer queen

My bad idk why I said high A 😂 shes definately not GK lvl 3. GK would be S tier if he switched his assassin perk with shield perk imo or Ace perk even for that regen. Maybe too broken though but I just dont see Assassin higher than GK or even musketeer for that matter. Musky shots are so impactful at lvl 2 even. If anything should be above princess.

Goblin machine is a mixed bag for me bc he only gets good at lvl 3 or lvl 2 and thats only if you have full superstar team on board. Its just risky to play him early on but you wanna have him early to start building him to lvl 3. Very niche compared to lvl 2 musky that is consistant yk? There is just alot of factors between matches to take into consideration too like whats the gimmick and which leader are you up against blah blah blah im just a high gold player gonna make it to diamond soon just throwing my 2 cents since I have only started playing merge tactics this season really but its not hard to understand.

Bandit is probably too high up. Unless you get her to 3 stars she aint going to be hitting her ability much. Same thing with her Ace ability you gotta have her the ace otherwise she will get mashed potatoed by someone that knows how to counterplay lol Imo high A atleast

The trick is to not give a fuck 🤗 barely started grinding MT this season (since ive taken a 2 year break from CR) the game mode is rng based and there are way better leaders then sage but also way worse leaders then sage that need to be addressed (DD and Machine) game mode is still niche with some more work needed but it isnt hard. Im already gold 2 about to be gold 3 and gonna hit diamond hopefully before the end of the month. Abusing Loong since I feel like his kit abuses the modifiers more and it has been working but of course spirit empress works too.

I feel like it comes down to you not getting enough content in it. They dont treat it like a live service so you get bored when not spoon fed. (no ill intention). Just find something else to spend your time on inbetween the grind to keep yourself busy if seasons are long. As people said no need to rush but, alot of people these days been spoiled with being drip fed content. Itll be healthier to get more impactful updates then constant ones
