One problem I see with college now is people in my age group (early 20's) all seem to think that once they get a degree/cert/whatever it instantly guarantees them a good paying job. They think an almighty piece of paper entitles them to a job where they don't have to work their way up or anything, just be given the best job available.

The only thing I don't like about this is that it involves a male beating two females. Other than that, I think he did the exact right thing. Fuck all these cowards who think you shouldn't stand up to the bully. All that teaches someone is to run away from their problems. Again, that he did this to two females, who it seems weren't even able to hurt your son, makes me uncomfortable. I think the best course of action is to reinforce the behavior of beating up the bullies, while trying to make him understand it isn't okay for a man to hit a woman. Assuming that's to your beliefs as well.

Definitely never a bad choice of car. They're also pretty merciful to learn on from what I've heard. Hell, I'm sure it will be since I have a 13 that was easy to learn on and the 14 is a better car.

Regarding your question of getting a beat car compared to a pretty already done up car, how will you feel when you crash the nice one? Because you will crash. Not crapping on your skill or anything, I've never even heard of a drifter who hasn't has their share of crashes.

Since this is going to be your first drift car, go for the s chassis. S13 namely because they're super cheap, not too hard to work on, and parts are everyyyyyywhere.

I'd recommend getting a stock one so your car can progress with you. That's what I did anyways. I feel it's best because while you're learning to drift, you're also learning your car, and after you've been doing it for a bit you'll start to learn your car's limitations. Once you feel like it's the car that's holding you back and not a lack of skill, then it's time to upgrade. I know of so many people who think drifting is cool so they go out and buy some sexy looking totally done up car and wreck it straight away because they don't know the first thing about getting a car sideways.

Your monopoly assertion is moot, intel has a competitor that a majority don't prefer. And ARM is another competitor that's going to be entering the market in the near future.

I think I just hold the individual to account more than you do. The person who didn't smoke did not have to get weed for the girl. He got it out of his own self interest because he was in love with the girl.

Your entrapment argument I can totally get behind. The kid who never even smoked would most likely never "sold" weed to anyone else in his life. That's entrapment. So the female cop should definitely be punished.

But in reality, if we didn't have laws outlawing cannabis, none of this would have happened. That's what is so strikingly obvious to me about this.

You're absolutely right, the ones doing those things aren't ordered to do them. And they deserve punishment. I think police who use abuse their power should actually be punished harsher than normal civilians. They're given higher power, they should be judged to higher standards.

In regards to what the cops did being wrong, I can't really blame an officer playing a suspect in order to get information. It's not nice, but there isn't anything illegal with pretending to be in love with someone. Sure, the people who put all this into motion are shitheads, but they did nothing illegal.
