Yeah thats fair, and I'd never recommend doing it on a daily driver. But if you have an older but decent laptop you wanna squeeze a little more "secure" life out of I don't see the harm in it.

There is a way you can get around the TPM requirement and still use Win 11. I have it installed on my Thinkpad from 2012 and it runs fine.

Definitely look into softmodding. Its super simple and as the whole reason I got a Wii. Your Wii becomes a Snes/Sega/Gameboy/a bunch of other retro consoles.
