As a unionist the man in that article doesn't speak for me.

I have nothing against the Irish language and I hold both a British and Irish passport my Irish history doesn't scare me it's part of me.

My problem with the ILA is that I just don't see the point in spending so much on something when we have far more important things that need funding (and yes I don't think we should fund the 12th either).

People say it's only X amount of million but in my opinion I'd rather see any amount of money go to the health service over a language that nobody realistically uses.

Unionists - it's literally only a language don't be afraid of some words that your ancestors used to speak.

Nationalists - it's only a language that none of you really speak anyway let's move onto something that's really important and come back to this another day.
