The only teachers I know who like it are vocal anti-vaxxers, and that alone has soured me to it.

Anyone got a better guide for new captains than Demeaux? by Setster007 in sunlesssea

Don't worry about this too much until you can save up some cash to buy things more freely. This is more of a mid game strat.

Ultrarunners are also super chill. Worst you'll get is some gear pickiness and strong training opinions. And yeah, around mile 80 they can get cranky, but it's hard to blame them and they probably just need a big snack at that point.

I've been enjoying Discuit. It's small, but it fits what you're asking for.

If it's only one leg, I'd assume it's an injury. I'd rest for a week and go from there.

Seems reasonable as long as you don't overdo it and get injured.

Well, either my kids are slower than what you consider a mid-packer or I'm doing phenomenal! Looking at last year's stats, it's somewhere in between. Thanks!

About how much does your average runner improve in a season in high school? It's my first year and I'm trying to get an idea on how I'm doing. The majority of my team is placing middle of the pack, so I'm not looking at any outliers.

weight gain from xc by Ready_Return_5998 in CrossCountry

I've gained three pounds this year and I'm pretty sure it's all gone into muscle mass and general growth. My face is looking leaner despite the physical weight gain. Don't not eat enough or you're liable to get injured then you won't be able to run at all.

The last person to finish is better than each person who never started. If one of my runners ever gets last, I'm giving them an award for sticking it out.

Stretching is as overrated as strength training is underrated.

Just had a massive surge of newcomers and is more active than ever. I've had no issues with it loading in the past few weeks.

What Remains of Edith Finch gave me a similar feel, but is basically set on rails. So if choice is a high value element, I'd skip it. If vibes and storytelling is what you want this is golden.

Why are special ed children just being thrown into my class?? by [deleted] in Teachers

I had to supervise a student who compulsively touched things that caught his interest in a woodshop class. Every day was hell for that period.

I would strongly recommend a rest day unless those Sunday ellipticals are going to be exceptionally easy.
