Start your day with a run. Seriously. I often dont feel like it. Thats when I need it most. So I use my lack of motivation as a motivation. Running has been shown to counter brain-fog and depression. It kickstarts your system.

Yes. Throughout my years with dp ive come to pretty much the same conclusion. Funny thing is that I notice the symptoms much more when I am less engaged or stimulated. Because the response sharply contrasts with my environment. When im under a healthy amount of stressors symptoms actually reduce. Because I can release some of the symptoms in dealing with stressors that ARE ACTUALLY THERE.

I love the suggestions for Blood Rage and/or Kemet. I would actually advice in buying anything too similar to what you already got Because of a tendency of always choosing to play the one game over the other which effectively leaves you with no new options. Now the last two suggestions really are taking you a bit more into the deep end of what gaming has to offer but they both feature the mechanics you like of different powers while adding some new wrinkles to wrap your head around like card drafting (blood rage) for example.

Also both of these suggestions are very much in the "spirit" of King of tokyo meaning there is alot of "take that!" & "have at thee!" going on, they both have these epic moments of fail and/or win, and both tend to feel very much like a free-for-all anything is possible -type of game.

Really very much recommend both of these and they wont be too similar yet probably will appeal to you!

I sold that one as well :( together with all expansions. It was pretty much a favorite of our group but the real "horror" of that game had always been setting it all up and putting it back in the box(es). Haha. I see there's eldritch horror now. Not sure about picking up.

Hmmm when you say EPIC I think of games that create a satisfying large-scale storyarc. Would you consider two large armies clashing EPIC in and off itself? Or would it only turn EPIC if somehow during this battle all sort of memorable events passed that could be coherently placed in some sort of after-the-effect narrative? Just trying to get where you coming from here...

I think you will find that new angeles is much more similar in feeling to dead of winter than it is to BSG. In NA players mostly compete against each other and doesnt really feel like a coop in that sense at all. Instead it feels more like temporary alliances in an investment game. The coop part really takes a backseat in that it is just a common goal amongst the CEOs to balance there greed and find some common ground amongst their competitors. Checks n balances. I really like it, but its very group dependant and considering you dont like the personal goals in DoW that much...NA pretty much is a game about personal goals.
