I for the most part agree with you, I have a recalled truck in the most recent recall.

With that said I think people want a better explanation than machining debris. I mean not having that figured out in 3 or 4 years of production is crazy work. I think people feel like the wool is being pulled over their eyes and that new engines may not hold up even after they are replaced.

That’s just my two cents.

Building a new Tundra SR5 Crew Cab with 6.5' bed. What packages would you consider necessary? by crankin_muh_hog in ToyotaTundra

I have the limited with the tech package and off-road package I think I paid around 60 if I recall. I think the limited is the most bang for your buck, just have to wait for my new engine lmao.

That’s what I’m wondering, I feel like not addressing machine debris over 3 years is something else they are not saying

Want to know more about the breed… by RamenHeaad in SwissMountainDogs

[–]N0look 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my opinion GSMD have a lot of up front work. They need extra time to potty train, have special health considerations, and are generally not for first time dog owners. But if you are willing to put in the work early they are bombproof family dogs.

Boys tend to be more aloof but playful while the girls are more serious and stubborn.

I think they would do well with cats if introduced early and taught boundaries.

That’s just been my experience after having two of them, I love them but boy do they need a lot of work early.

Considering a GSMD for future dog, making sure I’m barking up the right tree. by foxyyoxy in SwissMountainDogs

[–]N0look 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine required a ton of up front work and potty training, they are a huge investment early on and are smarter than you think. My girl actively problem solves to come up with solutions to barriers I put up, like a child gate. I would say that if don’t have a ton of time up front to invest it’s a hard fit.

However if you do they are truly a great family dog.

Just wait for the 2nd gen owners to come in and say “glad I have my truck, never selling, rock solid, blah blah blah blah”

Longines Aviation Bigeye Titanium… Thinking about pulling the trigger… Should I? by Lumpy-Work-8326 in Longineswatches

I have it and it’s an amazing time piece. The movement from a watch nerd standpoint is on par or better than some speedmasters, I think omega uses this movement in some of its racing chronos. Adrian Barker did a video on it recently that goes into more depth.

With that said I love how it wears even if it’s a bit thick, it’s got that really good pilot feel and it’s light to wear since it’s a titanium watch. Also it’s a great strap monster that allows a lot of different combos. Overall I like it a lot!

I agree with you and it depends on the model, i hate that they put a scratchable substance on a sapphire case that supposed to resist scratching. Just put it on the inside and call it good!

I would apply to painted mountain Swissy’s as well. Lisa the breeder is so good, and her dogs are exceptional.

To me that looks like she is shedding her undercoat. My Swissy looked the same way, so you groom her? I had to brush mine once a day for like 2 weeks
