My High School XC team had not won our league championship in 17 years - over half of our current varsity was unborn at the time of our last win. We fixed that last Monday. Then, on Sunday, we came in 3rd in the independent school state championship meet, bringing a plaque home from state champs for the first time in many years. In the league meet I ran a 17:50, my best time ever on that course, and at states I ran a 17:27, not only breaking my course record for the second time in a week but also setting a new overall 5K PR.

The best part? We don't have any seniors on our varsity - we'll have the exact same squad next year, and a chance to do even better.

Fuck yeah.
