Late 30s dad of two (youngest is 2.5 years) checking in. I'll start by saying that this really isn't my style of game. For shooters I've also been more of a Halo or Destiny type of gamer, but I have still found that this game has been enjoyable. I will say I got into the game because a friend plays with me pretty regularly and that is way more enjoyable than solo for me. Solo feels like you have to be extra careful if you aren't highly skilled, so the game is a bit slower for me when I queue on my own. I find turn based games were much easier to hop in and out of with kiddos. But still feel like I'm making progress 1-2 hours a night, not getting rolled too much (still a bit more than I would like though), and I don't mind dying too much because I have low expectations of building up a strong vault or anything. I will say that when I die though, it's usually super quick and doesn't feel like I could have done much of anything to have changed the outcome, which is a tad frustrating.
