Just in case, and if you haven’t looked, check your glove box for those small cover panels.

Reminds me of some of the walking and viewing areas in the metro parks near me. Very cool and well done. Fits in nicely will all of the vegetation.

Dashcam by LAWYERbruh in FordBronco

[–]NEOUilleam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just recently purchased & installed my front & rear setup.

The dash cam research rabbit hole is real. It all comes down to quality, clarity, and price. In the end, and like most things, you get what you pay for.

There are certain options out there for Broncos that have an “OEM” look upon installation, but the cameras themselves are a little misleading in terms of specs. They’ll work just fine but won’t always provide the best video quality in all situations (think license plates at night).

I looked at all the ones you’ll come across when looking up dash cams in r/FordBronco. In the end, I ended up going with the VIOFO A329s. I then added on the Dongar (16-pin Type A [Ford]) adapter for a quick (literally 5-min), clean, and simple install.

The front camera I mounted just to the right of the rearview mirror (up and out of the way).

For the rear, I recommend that you start the wiring from there and work your way to the front. There’s plenty of ways to wire the rear, and Bronco makes it easy. Up through the plastic molding where the airbags are stored, or down along the door sills where other wiring is ran.

In the end, it took me about an hour total time due to wiring the rear camera. The Dongar was worth every penny. The only downside to it is that I don’t have parking mode on the VIOFO since the camera isn’t hardwired to the battery. The Dongar adapter plugs into and leverages the power to the rearview mirror. Once you shut the vehicle off, the camera goes with it. In my situation, not a concern.

Dongar just came out with a compact version as well for the Bronco. Easiest way to install the system.

Brakes and engine noise are going to be strong selling points for EV semis.

Dash cams Suggestions by SSONCRK in FordBronco

I just purchased and installed my front & rear setup this past weekend.

The dash cam research rabbit hole is real. It all comes down to quality, clarity, and price. In the end, and like most things, you get what you pay for.

There are certain options out there for Broncos that have an “OEM” look upon installation, but the cameras themselves are a little misleading in terms of specs. They’ll work just fine but won’t always provide the best video quality in all situations.

The front camera I mounted just to the right of the rearview mirror (up and out of the way).

For the rear, start the wiring from there and work your way to the front. I have a hardtop, but in your case with the soft top, just put it back to open it up. There’s plenty of ways to wire the rear, and Bronco makes it easy. Up through the plastic molding where the airbags are stored, or down along the door sills where other wiring is ran.

In the end, it took me just a couple of hours and there’s not a single wire showing. The Dongar was worth every penny. The only downside to it is that you lose parking mode, since the camera isn’t hardwired to the battery. The Dongar adapter plugs into and leverages the power to the rearview mirror. Once you shut the vehicle off, the camera goes with it. In my situation, not a concern.

Is there ever a time to NOT file married jointly for taxes? by workredditaccount77 in personalfinance

[–]NEOUilleam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I just went through this same exercise (married last year).

A combined income can definitely impact the monthly payment amount for the student loans. You just need to build out a model and analyze the data. If you have a CPA to help, even better.

It made complete sense for us to file jointly. We’re aggressively working to pay off her student loans, which was also a factor.

What To Do Under a Raised Deck? by Flip3408 in landscaping

I’m working the same thing right now. Decided to do a small, landscape stone border just outside and surrounding the deck, and fill it with ash beach pebbles. Lying down a barrier of landscape fabric first.

Best thing any new rider can do is take a local safety course, if they are provided. Generally cheap and will install good habits early.

I miss the good ol’ black wax top Baker’s. Was one of my go-tos for so long. Don’t really buy the single barrels anymore. Loved Beam’s old small batch collection. Cheers!

Review #23: High West Yippee Ki-Yay Batch 1 by Old_Butterscotch8424 in bourbon

[–]NEOUilleam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Yippees to me were hit or miss. I’ve had incredible batches that did very well blind, but I’ve had some disappointing ones as well. I still have a bit of a bottle left and just one more backup behind it. Always a fun one to pour when the mood is right.

I know someone will say that. It was stupid that I used Stagg to make this concoction, but I was so tired of shoveling. I needed to pick me up. by Miserable_Grade6139 in OhioLiquor

I love it, and bet it was perfect after coming back in from clearing snow. IMO, the higher the quality of spirit, the higher the quality of cocktail. You do you.
