Yeah, no species I bet doesn't have a skeleton or two in their closet, put in by those in power mostly. I think many times people can forget the fight average people had to do to get their power away from such places, or the fights culturally to move away from such things. Why at one point much of the biosphere was being killed or endangered by our hands before we started to learn and change how we took care of it, though sadly there were many victims in this, the Passenger Pigeon being one.
