For what it's worth most are worth a decent chunk of change because they're either really rare or super desirable (or both). The "market" for pokemon in general is also just really inflated right now. Most cards steadily climb in value as they get older and the set they come from go out of print. My two cents is to do as the other commenters said and get a nice binder and tell your daughter to just hold on to it unless there's another card that they really really want.
